They need a 3rd option who's a more reliable scorer than Bridges and Ayton to get to the next level. Its the Phoenix coaching staff " MONTY WILLIAMS " mostly, along with Chris Paul and Devin Booker, that caused this debacle. They have stunted the growth and development of Deandre Ayton. He gave up stats and playing his game because that's what they wanted. They wanted Chris Paul and Booker to be the heroes. This kid came in at 19 and thought they had his best interest at heart , they didn't. He could arguably be a top 3 big man and top 15 player if they coached . trained and used him effectively. Nash era all day, he was effective and efficient even when losing and never chokes. Battling against the likes of Duncan’s Spurs, Dirk’s Mavericks and Kobe’s Lakers and can you just imagine how tough that era was? Can’t really justify greatness on Cp3 during Suns 2021 finals appearance. With so many great players injured that year, it was merely an easy matches for the Suns who battled battered teams and I believe it was sheer luck that took them to finals. 1st round an Anthony David-less lakers 2nd round Nuggets lost Jamal Murray to ACL tear Western conference finals with a Kawhi-less Clippers Because the Phoenix Suns have not faced healthy teams this postseason, opposing fans will put asterisks on their accomplishments. The Suns will be characterized as lucky, rather than deserving. The only way to silence doubters is to win back to back conference finals but sadly they were blown out on game 7 by Luka’s Mavericks. No hate on cp3 but Nash’s playoff run was way more convincing than that of CP3s.
