I would have loved to see him in an episode of House. I was also hopeful that one episode would have had House get a knock on the head, develope amnesia and start speaking in a British accent.

It's so funny- I've been a big fan of Fry and Laurie since I first saw them on Jeeves and Wooster. Loved that series. Since then, I'd see Stephen Fry here or there on television and think to myself, "he's still doing well-- I wonder what happened to the guy who played Wooster? Oh well, just disappeared, I guess. I never realized the guy on House was Hugh Laurie-- hahaha.

@buzzardbeatniks Not just his face, but his voice, his humor, his acting talent, the fact that he writes about computers... I have tremendous respect for him. Plus he played "Lord Snot" on "The Young Ones". I've been waiting for years for him to do a guest spot on "House", being one of those weird Americans who knew about Hugh Laurie (from "Jeeves and Wooster") before I knew about "House". Roughly around the time Stephen was playing a psychologist in Bones 50 yards away from the set of House, Hugh Laurie's character was in a mental institution and trying to out-think a therapist who refused to return his medical licence until he sough help. How monumentally stupid must these TV crew's be to miss an opportunity to not only bring these two best friends in the same show but also do a funny TV cross-over?

@ConceptJunkie "I guess if there were any chance of that it would have been mentioned here." Hugh Laurie has since mentioned on Jonathon Ross that he and Stephen have talked about it. House is inspired by Sherlock Holmes (makes sense; I always thought it was more a detective show than a medical one) and they love the idea that Holmes had a smarter brother, Mycroft. Fry has reportedly *threatened* to come on House as Gregory's smarter older brother .... with *two* limps.
