I used to work at a McDonald's and I honestly loved it, it was pretty goddamn stressful, specially on Thursdays since there were discounts on those days and the restaurant was crowded AF... but I had such amazing coworkers on my schedule, just funny dudes and girls who were also amazing and honest at work, and I was always the grill man cause I was the fastest and the cleanest one at it so my bosses always put me there whenever I arrived. At first I hated the grill, I was slow and got a lot of bruises and burns, but eventually I got used to it and loved that job, everytime they were having a rough day they would call me to unstuck the kitchen since I never said no and arrived fast. People are too damn prejudicial and rough to fast food workers, some of em are crap but I saw, multiple times, people treating some of the best people I ever met like they were trash, 90% of the time it wasn't even their fault and if it wasn't, it was totally understandable, we are humans and make mistakes, we were there for hours, of course we would make some mistakes every now and then. Some people were kind enough to understand, but most of em weren't

Dude, I was as polite as possible even before having worked at fast food. Now that I know how it is, I try to be even nicer, I have defended fast food employees a few times when I'm waiting for my food. Last month I went with my mom and my girlfriend to the mall because they needed to buy some stuff, so I drove them there, and when we went to eat at Pedro, Juan & Diego (a popular brand were I live) they had like 4 guys working and a manager. I waited patiently but a lady behind me started trash talking the workers, and after a few minutes I lost my patience and argued with her. She said some pretty awful shit, so everyone else, even the ones that were also upset because of the wait, decided to change sides and defend the workers. I ended up with bigger drinks, french fries and more expensive burgers than the ones I had ordered, courtesy of the manager. Dunno if it was a good or a bad experience, it was nice when people started supporting me and the workers, but it was also very upsetting.

Guy seams to be in jeans which is doable to work in at least according to the one that I worked at and sometimes it gets a bit cold and they don't exactly have mcdonadls hoodies or at least not ones that everyone can afford or want to spend there money on and he more than likely has a work shirt on under that so who are they to tell him that he can't wear a flannel if he wants to

Yes because he isn't flipping freaking burgers while being screamed at by some teenager or God awful customers about time to lean, time to clean. But is actively enriching himself and his knowledge of the law and his profession while making about 8x as much as hour with half the physical pressure or mental distress of constantly being harassed by micromanagers. I'm sure the slow moving lawyer is enjoying his job. Because it's a profession he actively chose that pays incredibly well. As opposed to your average McDonald's worker who is literally just doing so to not starve homeless on the streets. Absolutely ridiculous comparison
