Hey,i jave another jp33 that turns on,but no sound output. No burnt fets,sqollen caps fried traces. Its brand new,any chance i can sed it to you? Or are you swamped todd?

Unfortunately, I do not accept the JP amps in for service IF it has blue tooth connectivity. If it does have it then the issue is most likely the blue tooth card which I cannot service.

@ellensburgamplifier I don't know what the he'll it is,I took the module out and reconnected everything and still turns on but no output. All I did was turn off my amps and dsp with a toggle switch and it did something to it but the other 2 amps and dsp are still fine I'm stumped. Thanks for getting back to me bud

@@markroberts715 The RCA input runs through the Bluetooth card. So removing the card will remove the pre-amp signal. There is a digital potentiometer IC and a PIC on the card that is most likely shorted. I found the digital potentiometer ICs and have determined the issue causing the fault BUT I have no access to the PIC or firmware.

Good question! I have not repaired Stetsom amplifiers for quite some time. They will either be the IRS20957 or the Si8244. Best way to know is to match the datasheet of these to the input pin location on the board going to the drivers.

What is abnormal value for rectifier diode?

An abnormal value would be low resistance or a short using a meter. You should see the resistance value go up as capacitors charge. There are common anode/cathode, and doublers, but they all get measured similarly. If you are asking about forward voltage, I would base it on the type of rectifier such as general-purpose silicone .6v or Schottky .4v along with several others.
