As Steve would say....when I take a bite from an animal, it is never EVER the animal's fault. Its always my fault. I miss him. I'm looking forward to seeing the next episode of the new show....Crikey! Its the Irwins. The first episode was amazing. And Steve is still VERY much there with them....in spirit, watching over them and cheering them on. I know he was standing right there with the proudest Steve smile on his face, watching Robert do his first Croc show with Wes and watching Bindi tend her animals. He would be so proud that they are carrying on his legacy. The burst of emotional nostalgia was real.

Say what you will, but Steve Irwin was more of a man than just about every single living male on the planet. He knew what he loved, he educated us, he put forth so much work into wildlife conservation, and he knew all the dangers. He knew every single morning that today might be his last day alive, and that day eventually came, but he faced it like a man and died a hero. God bless him.
