HUNTR is the project we should have started years ago. It's our excuse to work less and hunt more. We're not the world's greatest hunters by any means but we're not afraid to get aggressive and learn from our mistakes. From northeastern whitetails to western muleys, we're dreaming up hunts, putting in for tags, finding ground, and doing everything in our power to get it done.
Podcasts drop Tuesday nights, season 1 drops fall 2021, & there's merch in the store if you dig our stuff!
We want to hear from you! Whether you've got a story to share, a question for the guys, or want to tell us what we're doing wrong, it's all good. Drop us a line and we'll do our best to get back to you

Steve is excellent. He is not full of himself like a lot of the other guys. I could listen to him all day long. Thanks for the great podcast

@@HUNTRPOD absolutely, at this point I’m listening to one a day..I appreciate your varied knowledge which includes the Mississippi habitat. I’m closing on a new farm in Central MS and always looking for ideas. Sorry to be long winded but at some point can you come up with a “top ten” tree species to hinge vs those terminate. Thank you

My favorite podcast as of late. Listened to all of them. Love the people y’all have on to give a science perspective. Different and somewhat refreshing from the rest of the pack. If you need help up in Wisconsin, let me know

I’d definitely say you guys are the “Rookie of the Year” podcast when it comes to Whitetail hunting. Like Exodus was a few years ago when their podcast came out. One thing I would encourage both of you in, is to be into hunting for sure, but not neglect or delay having kids for the sake of hunting. If you wait too long it’s a bad thing because the age gap can affect your ability to pass on the sport. And for your kids to experience your success with you, vs just hear stories of yesteryear. We sometimes don’t think about these things when they are making life decisions. And make sure mama is taken care of too will go a long way in future success. Jeff Sturgis is one guy I really admire for the balance he has in this respect between his family and hunting.

Great comment Mike. I won’t speak for Jared, but I barely hunted myself this year as I was focused on my two boys, and their success is my success

Haha "shout out to all the haters, ya pieces of sh$t" that made me laugh really hard! But besides that you guys have great info that holds true, awesome knowledge of deer in general and are open to many different opinions and when it comes to what works for me, it's not just one guys strategies but it's multiple people's strategies I use and you guys share it all! This industry has also became pretty selfish and to see some like you guys share the knowledge that's awesome! You guys are definitely my favorite podcast!
