It's such a big song in the UK, since it was out, and now it's played as a hype song everywhere. Especially before football games. If you don't know any other song by The Killers, you will still know this song word by word. Louis Tomlinson has done this song as a cover as well
@Ok_Loren2 жыл бұрын
I wish Louis still covered this. It sound was perfect for him.

The fact it's not a specific Killers crowd shows you how much of an anthem that song is in Glasgow and the UK. He would never have sang louder than us during that song 😂 Brandon looked a bit surprised when he first started singing lol

Mr. Brightside is quite possibly one of the best songs ever written, especially in terms of fan participation. And yes, it is basically the UK national anthem.

I was in this crowd! It was amazing and they played a gig at a dingy little venue immediately after and people followed them and crowded central glasgow 😂 And yes, the loudness is accurate. I couldn’t hear or talk for days afterwards. Us Scots are LOUD. If you don’t lose your hearing for at least 6 hours after a gig here, the gig was crap

Fn amazing. Brandon Flowers is one of, if not the most, charismatic front men in music today. Gold lamé suit and thousands under his spell! He knew exactly what he was doing when they nerfed a shortened version of their anthem only to jump right back into it full tilt at 2:32! You can tell whatever he actually said was meant as "yeah, you wish that was it! Now buckle up!" Gives me chills and I so wish I was there! And to his gentlemanly bow 3:56, I humbly and in awe, bow back. Bravo!
