I give Ron a lot of the blame for this because he let himself become a codependent enabler for Fez's craziness. If he would have kept the relationship strictly professional, he would have sent Fez packing when his lunacy stated becoming a hindrance to the show (around 2008) rather than let it fester for another decade until it reached the breaking point. Loyalty is one thing, but this is professional suicide.

Fez telling Ron that all Chris does is suck up to him instead of helping Fez is both ironic and enraging. Ironic because that is what Fez does and enraging because Chris is not a psychologist. He’s just a radio producer trying to get through his day while also having to carry Fez on his back. Chris might agree with Ron on the air all the time, but that seems to be the dynamic that Ron wants for the show. Fez is the one that is physically and psychologically unable to be bothered by Ron even when Ron is cruel to him.

Ron is dead on about how great Fez used to be. Back in the WNEW days, they used to do show promos that would play during the O&A show and the promos were hilarious!! And that was all Fez.

Fez calling Stanley a Greek Chorus is dead on. Despite all of Fez’s paranoia and insanity, he was still perceptive and picked up on dynamics. He saw the issues with ESD and Casey coming from afar because of her subterranean toxic behavior, the only thing he was wrong about with Chris is that he was less a subversive to Ron and Fez’s relationship, and more of a shit eating parasite yes-man.
