Buckingham nicks is super underrated. So seeing this song on here is exciting♡ !!
@kurtsaxton96654 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure underrated is completely accurate, it proved what kinda songwriter Stevie was and still is. I think at the time it might have been overlooked by many but in time it came into it's own by true fans and definitely with help from exposure from Fleetwood Mac. I find it to be a masterpiece.
@theofficialsparkx4 жыл бұрын
@@kurtsaxton9665 oh its a total masterpiece! I agree

Couldn't agree more. Let's hope these two patch things up and manage to do something about the album's 50th anniversary in 2023. This is BEGGING for a remastered and expanded edition.
@stannis7684 жыл бұрын
@@Cicilo1983 - It’s been tried a few times (re-releasing Buckingham/Nicks) but unfortunately Stevie and Lindsey could never agree on the logistics. More to do with Stevie, as she has the master recordings in her music vault. Lindsey wanted to re-issue B/N and follow it with a tour utilizing the original band members (to include Waddy, whose playing lead in the video). The latest talks on it was back in 2013 but like the times before the project never materialized. Lindsey wanted to add new music to the project, whereas Stevie, at the time, wasn’t wanting to give up any of her new material (songs). She’d rather use her new material for her solo projects. That’s exactly what happened in 2017, when Buckingham/McVie came out. It was supposed to be a Fleetwood Mac album but Stevie wasn’t interested in contributing any new songs to the project. Rather she preferred to stay out on tour (24kt Gold Tour).
@Cicilo19834 жыл бұрын
Yes, she sure seems stubborn at times, especially when it comes to working with Lindsey in the studio. Hopefully, she'll warm up to the idea. It simply makes no sense that there was never a CD release for this album.

This should be the next single on the radio from her, after her most recent release. Pretty good rendition, from a 70-year-old ramblin' gal, reminiscing over a tale she wrote and sung, in 1973, at age 25. Truth be told, she should have been performing this cool Country Rocker, since The Bella Donna Tour 1981. It's too good, to have been left on ice all this time. Looking very forward to purchasing this concert LP/CD/DVD, on Halloween Eve. The perfect follow-up/companion to The Eagles' new near-masterpiece, LIVE FROM THE FORUM 2018.

@@clucka Yeah. I get that impression, too. However, The Eagles did it right, putting the whole thing out in multiple formats: 4-LP set, 2-CD set, 2-CD/DVD set, and 2-CD/Blu-ray set. I wonder what the record label is waiting for? I'm surprised to see that Warner Bros. may not be involved with this release, considering she's been with them, since 1975. I thought that she might have been signed on to a new minor Warner Bros. recording contract, post-The R&RHOF induction, since she's got The Song of Rhiannon film/series/soundtrack coming next; and, that work was originally commissioned with Warner Bros, in 1978; so, it seems appropriate that that album be released through Warner Bros., I thought...
