I've said it before I'll say it again, Double Trouble doesn't get enough credit. Could keep the rhythm like no else's business. God bless Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble!

That's what I have always said, if I were close to 1% as good as SRV, I don't think I would like to have my name as the band unless it's like a solo album or something like that, I feel like the others don't get credit, but thankfully in Double Trouble's case, they get plenty

Will admit this performance sounds thicker, heavier than the 1989 Austin City Limits one (with the string break and guitar replacement). Love both this 1985 version and 1989, especially since both contain the "new" keyboardist Reese Wynans; what a bonus sound added to the blues.

Mr. Reese Wynan, and I totally agree! Perfect addition to Stevie and Double Trouble. I've never heard a better rhythm blues/rock band in my life. The bass guitar playing, especially on songs like The Sky Is Crying, matches the level of Stratocaster. I'm not a bass player, lol, btw,a guitarist.
