One of the things that often goes unappreciated about Chris Stapleton, especially by people that just react to his world class voice (not insinuating that's the case with you, Stevie, just saying a lot of cases) is the fact that he is quite literally one of the greatest and most successful song writers that ever lived, in any genre, ever. He has written dozens of hits, including number one hits, for tons of other artists. Everybody from Adele to Tim Mcgraw have put his songs on their albums. You'd be shocked how many songs you know, that other people sing, that Chris wrote. And on top of that, yeah, that voice, is just different brother.

Agree Jake. Every song he writes touches the heart in a different place and squeezes on the soul. His bluegrass music with the Steeldrivers in years back does the same. I can almost see all our ancestors in those hill countries working from sun up to sundown, then taking time for a little front porch music.
