I have an 029 super with what appears to be the same carb. I'm guessing that it's the top diaphram that's causing fuel to come out of the exhaust when I try to run the saw. What do you think? Also my fuel screws only turn 3/4 of the way around, but i dont see any "tabs" or anything that are keeping them from turning full revolutions...... any advice? Am I missing something?

@Rifle Bear, from your description the needle is sticking in the open position allowing too much fuel through the circuit. The limiter tabs on the fuel adjustment screws are not visible without removing the red plastic that surrounds them. The most common method of removal is to insert a sharp well fitting drywall screw into the plastic enough to pull the drywall screw along with the red plastic portion from around the screws, the tabs are in the red plastic.
