She was so good and full of character. And she had mad skills, too - that one submission hold she did where it looked like she was gonna wrench off someone's arm is something I've never seen anyone else pull off. Personally, I also find it sad that so many people who say that they loved her & are against "bullying" online in wrestling social media circles basically do to others (pros & fans) what was done to her with zero self-awareness. Pretty sure that's not how her memory should be honored. Rest well, queen.

Hana had a fabulous presence in the ring but it was hard for me to understand why negative comments on Twitter make you take your life...Shut your Twitter etc down and that ends it...I always thought that there was more to this story and Hana's personal life that contributed to her death...Either way the loss of a young life Hana is tragic and sad event....

For real, is this a joke? Not speaking about individuals obviously, but as a general cultural norm most Asian nations have deep-rooted histories of racism particularly towards other Asians. Wasn't uncommon back in the day for wrestlers to change their names to either avoid or generate heel heat for their ethnic heritage. I would imagine mixed-race people get it especially hard. I think Western media has conned a lot of people into thinking racism is a Eurocentric (read: white) phenomenon but as any anthropologist will tell you, racism existed in literally every culture in human history.
