The walbro hda199 is a problem child with the smaller low jet and the accelerator pump for the etec cat muffler. They’re known for being really finicky.

Lol on the over shooting the numbers trust me I’ve been there. I also have a wall of shame lol 😆 cylinders that completely sucked after experimenting or made major mistakes by over grinding. Glad it worked out for you dude.

Yea... Case in point with the little saws.... When I pulled out my ported 340 at Hopperstock you looked at me like I was a goober 😂😂 Anytime you compare Zama to Walbro, Zama will be superior in my experience..

Yep. Even I have a difficult time giving the small saws their due appreciation at get togethers. But on the job site...now that's a whole different story!

On the 5 series the numbers are already pretty damn good but they’re missing compression. If you can add some compression they really wake up.
