In spite of what so many seem to think, you don't need a big built up Jeep to go wheeling on the rocks. Sure, there are limits as to what you can do but even in a bone stock JL Wrangler 2-Door Sport running a set of street tires, you'd be amazed at just how capable they really are. Of course, unlike any other 4WD vehicles made today, they do come with a solid front axle and that means you can disconnect the front sway bar to obtain a lot more axle articulation or what some people refer to as, FLEX! And, to help make the disconnecting process a lot faster and easier on Pippi, Cindy and I decided to install a used Rubicon sway bar disconnect with an EVO No Limits knob and in this video, you'll get to see us put it to use and test it out on a trail with some challenging rocks.

Honestly, a slightly bigger MT tire, ditch the stock bumpers, and maybe gut out the plastic fenders, and I don't think anyone would really need any more from their Wrangler. And that's a sweet sway bar disconnect. I love it! And I'd love to see you guys do a truly budget "every man" build. Especially if you stayed below 35" tires. That would be some quality content

Mate I'm always impressed with how a stock Wrangler goes when driven well on the rocks but I'm sure with all spare part's you have in the back of the "Jeep Shed" it could be time to replace the front bar with a Rubicon stubby and a winch plus 2" lift & 35's 😳😁👍 Let's face it just about everyone with a stock Jeep doesn't leave it this stock for this long 😊😊😊 I really love your mod videos ❤❤❤

Just goes to show you that it's not that you have a big, built-up jeep, but that you know how to drive it. I especially love that it has a manual transmission. Stalls are just part of life when driving a manual. Love mine, and your video gives me hope! 😄 Thank you!

I'm really enjoying your "Pippi" series! It does a fantastic job of showing just how capable our Jeep Wrangler's are in stock configuration, and that I don't have to wait until I put a lift and bigger tires on my 2012 JKU and 2018 JLU Sahara's to have some real fun wheeling them. From this video, it appears the Wranglers traction control system is doing a good job of navigating difficult terrain that you might expect to need a locking differentials for.

At 9:15, that is what it always looks like when the Willys/WWII guys come out to play. I never understood the appeal, would rather get the right gears and lockers and crawl. Could care less about the tires and lift until that's sorted with a manual. I do worry about the size of these newer Jeeps, the older ones were the size of a side by side.

funny how loud and squeaky the JK is, and how quiet the JL is. My JK was the same way, almost got annoying, then I bought the JL and it hardly makes a noise.
@wayalife
@wayalife 2 жыл бұрын
LOL - well, to be fair, the JK you see is over 15 years old and running a TON of aftermarket suspension components with heims and coilovers which are always noisy. Granted, that's what makes it perform well. The JL on the other hand is running all factory components and with bonded rubber bushings and while not as capable, it is it is super QUIET 😎

As always great video Eddie,, are those 31’s on pippy ? And boy imagine what that JL could do with a auto trans , i tried wheeling a friends manual jeep once pfft , i would eat a clutch a month and whatever else i could possibly break if i owned a manual , that shit is hard to do👍

I think that Jeep would be great with a 4to1 transfer case out of a rubicon. Would make for a less stressful time with the clutch and love the video!
@wayalife
@wayalife 2 жыл бұрын
LOL - without question, a 4:1 transfer case would make a HUGE difference. But, the whole point of Pippi is to show that you don't "need" one to get out and have fun. Stressful times is how you learn to be better.
