By the way, why is Eve's orbit path color blue at 3:03?
@Stratzenblitz757 жыл бұрын
That's a result of the color adjustment I added to the video. To make the colors "pop" more, I increased the saturation for some parts of the video. In the map screen, this turns Eve's orbit lines to a very deep purple/blue. Looking at it again, I realize that adding my color adjustment there was a mistake; I should have left the map screen colors alone to be more consistent.

@armchairrocketscientist49347 жыл бұрын
I've seen a whole lot of extreme vehicles in KSP. Submarines, SSTO's, completely reusable mission this and that... what I want to see is the ultimate, perfect, kerbal craft. One that can visit every single body in the Kerbol system with a single launch from Kerbin, and is completely reusable. Having to refuel is fine as long as it is only done using parts on the craft itself, and I wouldn't care if it were an SSTO, but it would again, have to be fully reusable, and have to be able to get to every planet and moon. I think that it would be impossible. You can make SSTO's and fully reusable craft designed for a specific planet or moon, but making one that could handle bodies like Eve, as well as everything else would be difficult.
@NoNameAtAll27 жыл бұрын
I remember trying to do such thing... Got stuck in lifting stage, cause a)my computer couldn't take it b)no fairings is a bit hursh for modular construction I've made :( Eve SSTO had happened before, even without suborbital randevous as in Eve infinity on this channel. Reusable Grand Tour "Everything but Eve" was done too (I even saw "just 1 plane with Tylo lander in cargo bay" mission) I wonder why noone had done this thing yet...

Thanks! The segments can rotate because they are a separate vessel from the main craft. Basically, there is an axle inside that cargo-bay that connects the two engine pods. Thanks :3. I'm always striving to make my content better so I'm glad you're enjoying! As for my channel growth, there is one major difference between me and other KSP tubers; upload rate. KZbin promotes channels that upload more frequently and since I don't upload nearly as frequently as the others, I don't grow as fast. Plus, I don't have as large a collection of "great" videos as other popular KSP channels. After all, I haven't uploaded that many videos and of the ones I have, my early videos had some quality issues that prevented them from being "great" in my eyes. That all said, I've seen some major growth in the past month so things are definitely changing for the better :)

What amazes me most about your videos (even more than the usual array of gravity assists and narrow dV windows) is how remarkably stable your ships are for Kerbal craft... cases of the wobbles seem pretty rare for your stuff, aside from silliness like the 68cm rocket or the Mk2 bay to Tylo.
