There is so much eyecandy in this video that it is really hard to choose only one picture! But I love Blackchurch rock with the strong leading lines and the fantastic scale with the person, perfectly placed in the "window". So impressed!

It has to be No 3 for me. This shows what Stonehenge is all about. The sky, the heavens, the heritage, the feel of the picture is ideal for this historic icon. You did stonehenge justice. Your portfolio shots are amazing I'm jealous. Thanks again Mads.

All great images (as always) but 3 is my favorite. Your style of slightly desaturating the colors works well with the ancient subject, as well as with the ominous sky. 4 is my next favorite, as the subject is so, so unique. The browns in the photo also have a certain richness that works well with the bluish sky.

My favorite video to date! That Game of Thrones castle with the strong stone lines leading the eye through the atmospheric view...the stunning triangular peak at the shore that demands attention with the amazing stone landscape that surrounds it ,and putting as you always do the HUMAN element is the image ...truly unique and one I have never even heard of until this video...and lastly the Starry Night backdrop with Stonehenge as its subject...incrediblel artistic vision..you carry us away to places we want to see and visit and if for some reason we won’t make it there you guide our every move as we view your travels as if we are actually traveling the same path as you...with you...thank you for your camera knowledge...encouragement...enthusiasm and vision of your world.stay blessed.

Number 4 for me Mads, the lead in lines and the bold shape and interest in the rock formation set this one apart. A long exposure with the cloud trails lined up with the lines in the rocks would really set this off! Looking forward to episode 3, great to see your take on the UK.

Great video as always. My great great grandfather and some generations before were from Glastonbury, and my next trip to Europe will include London and the south of England, so this is especially meaningful. And . . . Another hard choice but number 3. I love the image for what it is, but it also inspires me to be a better photographer. It’s an amazing location sure, but it looked a grey, boring day with loads of people - not conducive to a good image. You shot show what you can get if you know what you’re doing and take proper time to prepare and keep looking before you shoot. The fact the clouds are all moving away from you really accentuates the subject and is just another really great example of thinking about all the different elements in the view and how to make them work together. Thanks for another great vid - shall get on to the others now!

Thank you Stephan :) My main theory is simply I don't get featured on any photography blogs because I haven't made any directly educational videos yet. The bloggers/journalists on those blogs can't decipher the learning/information I put into my videos unless I explicitly write it in the title of the video. It requires way too much effort from their side to come up with an original text to go along with my content, compared to just write a few words about some other photographers top 3 tips for landscape photography ;)

2 is great, but I’d crop closer. Love the way the asymmetrical ridge slopes are continued in the church. My favorite is 6. I ‘m pretty certain the Milky Way is never vertical at Stonehenge, so that tells me this is not just a documentation of exactly what you saw. I think it is still a valid landscape if it represents something you imagined when you saw it. I see your image as a powerful representation of the myth that Stonehenge is where a line of power on the Earth connects to the cosmos. Putting all that in the exact middle is then a master stroke.

I live in Southern England and I have visited some of these places many times. Your video reminds me how lucky I am. I prefer 4 - Black Church Rock. I have never seen this before but I love seascapes so it is definitely on my shoot list now! Finding a composition at Stonehenge is very hard but I like what you’ve done bar the composite - although it would be a great location to shoot the Milky Way given the right conditions.

1,3 et surtout la 6 sont superbes et mystiques à souhaits. Un tutoriel pour les changements de ciel avec la voie lactée me plairait bien. J'attends avec impatience l'Ecosse. Je regrette un peu les présentations avec les cartes en intro. Merci

Number 4. No doubt about that for me Mads. It's got great perspective with that low PoV, great composition and exposure, and the cool sky colours go well with those warmer tones in the rocks. Damn, I need to do this myself, but it's such a pain in the bum to get there from Cheshire! I think 5 is spectacular too with the halo. Perfect position for the cloud movement in 3. When I shoot the MW I always do it 'in situ', but I still end up compositing the stars with a separate shot of the foreground. In 5 you are facing south west so this composition is representative of reality - it would happen at 8pm tonight on that very spot. But your chances of a clear sky there would be slim to say the least. Brilliant group of shots Mads :)

I love number 4. I think it's the combination of texture and colour. I also love that you have included a person, I have seen photos of this formation before but never realised it was so large. I also notice that you visited Gold Hill in Shaftesbury which is only 10 minutes from my house! I hope you enjoyed your visit to Dorset, I certainly feel very lucky to live in such a wonderful area.

Have you made black and white versions of your Stonehenge photos? I'm thinking that they'd be more powerful in monochrome. You may want to test a sepia tint also. * Two is fantastic! I love it. We don't get fog in the American Southwest desert. I particularly like how you photographed Stonehenge from a distance which puts it in context with the landscape. And, the astral sky versions really bring out what Stonehenge is about. Very good work.

This one is very close to home for me too. Some of my family are buried in the graveyard at Brentor, and my grandmother was born and grew up not far away from there. Next time you're in this part of the world you need to come down to see us in Cornwall. There are some great compositions down here that we can recommend!

Being Stonehenge, which to me is a very mysterious place with lots of myths around it and seems to hold some magic power, I think number 6 looks very fitting.

Well, my fav is no. 3 because I love long exposure. No. 5 is also very good with the halo and it's minimalistic style. I remember my first visit at Stonehenge in the 80's, there were no carpark and no museum an yould walk around. But there where much fewer visitors at the time. At my second visit about ten years later I was a bit shocked about the development of the touristic infrastucture. Best Hartmut

HI Mads. I said it last time, and ill say it again.... Great to see a fellow photographer who is serious about his Vlogs. Your style is very 'documentarial' in style which is aweoms. Professioanl production and a good mix of media. Love your moody post production of your images too mate!. Well done. Regards, Ewan

Mads Peter Iversen personally I have a passion for photography but especially landscapes and Astro ! I love portraits but I don’t feel any shame doing hipster composites Street whatever ! If the opportunity is there and I have my camera I’m going for it ! Plus photography is art no one should tell you you’re faking it ! You’re interpreting it in your own way which thousands of people love ! Keep going mate your channel videos and especially images are awesome and inspiring !! If you ever want to expand your operation let me know as I’d love to move into photography and with someone who’s Work I love and could learn from would be a bonus !!
