@@arislanis They have people in charge that are smart and respect viewers. They never miss when it comes to massive productions like this. They even had this show film for 12 months (One year) so that they get it in the best quality possible for us. They’ve filmed in all 4 seasons that the game takes place and there was no need for CGI. The clickers are made with incredible budget through practical effects and Oscar winning production members.

The first episode is going to be wild. I always thought the prologue in TLOU1 captured the pandemonium of the initial outbreak very well. I hope it's at least a whole episode before Ellie is even introduced....and so help me God if they go the flashback route!

The trailer gave me positive emotions, especially when I was playing the game. I'm literally crying. you can see that they added some new threads that were not in the game, which was obvious, you can see that they want to expand the plot. I can not wait.

In the series, as you can see, they will develop side plots from the game, which is cool for me. Hbo released posters promoting the series and there it is on one Frank

As for a extremely huge Last of Us Fan and for someone who absolutely love both games I find this trailer extremely promising. They did mention that they will make some changes to the dialogues and they going to add some extra content as well. I simply cant wait for the show.

The series is 9-10 episodes. It’s going to expand on storylines of the original game that didn’t make it on the final game in 2013. We are going in depth with all these characters.

If episodes are an hour long then that only leaves 5 hours for EVERYTHING we actually did in the game which doesn't include stuff they plan on adding. Idk I just don't see how they fit the entire game plus dlc in one season without rushing it.. I'd much rather them split it over two seasons.

OMG that *IS* Ashley Johnson! I didn't spot her until you did. I have no idea what role she is playing, but that is an EPIC casting, if you called it right and she's playing Ellie's mom in a flashback or something. I checked the IMDB and it is definitely her. The role she is playing isn't listed though (and I'm glad, so it didn't spoil anything for me) but she is only credited with 2 episodes in the first season, at least, so your guess seems likely? Any chance you'll be doing a full, unedited, watch-a-long type version on another platform outside of KZbin? I'm so fucking excited for this and have been since the rumors of its existence started! The stuff with Frank was quite vague and even more so if the player didn't find and use the note.

In the upcoming TV series Merle Dandridge as Marlene reprises her role from the video games which is so awesome. I am so glad that the cannibal villian guys who pretend to help Ellie and wanted to kill her is in the show as well. I saw certain scenes in the trailer that really confirmed that.

Hello. Yes, the voice actors of the character in the game will appear in the series. HBO knows how to make good adaptations of games or books. Neither Amazon nor Netflix can match it.

It seems to me that HBO is hoping for a "flagship show" to replace Game of Thrones. They tried with Westworld (didn't quite get there), and again with House of the Dragon. Not sure what the numbers were on the latter, but whatever they were, The Last of Us will surely surpass them and break into the larger culture.

I hope so as well. I think House of the Dragon did well though from what I heard? Haven't watched it, my heart and spirit were broken with GOT season 8 💀

@@WhimsyPsyche I've got to episode 6 or 7 so far, and it is very good. The story is just on a smaller scale than GOT, but it is engrossing. (I don't see it becoming a "flagship show", though, for the very reason that it is on a smaller scale than GOT. And that's fine with me as a viewer. In a sea of content, House of the Dragon is among the best there is currently, in my opinion...at least insofar as I have watched it. I'll definitely be finishing the season.)

Yeaaah I know I should give it a try... it's just... I've never been so disappointed in my life than when I watched GOT S8 unfold, I'm still recovering from that 🥲 I heard a lot of good things from House of the Dragon though, I'll give it a try someday!

What we don't need is for it to end up getting stretched out to the point where it all starts to lose the magic and breaks. I want the show to do well but I don't want them to ruin it if it's good by pushing it too far as has happened with far too many shows.

@@carpetfluff35 I wouldn't call it "stretched out" or filler, but there will have to be more story. There just isn't enough story in the game to fill 10 hours of television, and much of what is there will have to be reframed for a television narrative. Reports are that HBO has spent 10-15 million per episode, and possibly upwards of 200 million for the first season (which would be 20 million an episode). Could it still have problems? Sure. But all the money and talent behind it, plus HBO, allays my worries. I can't remember the last HBO project I didn't like. Maybe Westworld season 3, and the last couple of Game of Thrones, but that's about it.

I don't have the best mic unfortunately 😔 I've notice that this happens intermittently recently, it's something new and I haven't changed my settings. I can try to lower it but I doubt it'll change anything 😩

As you grow your channel you will naturally obtain better equipment which will make the quality of your videos higher and it wouldnt hurt to try tweaking the settings to see what works and what doesnt, it's better than not checking. Anyways keep up the good work.
