This would have to be one of your best lessons. Specially where people think they are over the top but they arent as much only early releasing which creates that out to in thanks Stu

Agreed Craig; so many misconception's of what a golfer is actually seeing and thje belief the shoulder is the issue. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Best wishes Stu

Stu, you are an asset. Thank you for exceptional content. Do you think it would be correct to say that downswing biomechanics and feeling when done correctly is similar if not identical to a proper underarm softball pitch?
@GoodGolfCoaching4 ай бұрын
Thank you so much for the kind words, really appreciate you. As for an underarm softball pitch, because there isn’t leverage involved, would be impossible to make it feel the same or even be the same. Hope that helps. Best wishes Stu.

As an engineer, I REALLY enjoy your videos! I also go down all the wormholes of other golf coaching that's on youtube. I don't know if Danny and you are friends or rivals; but I wouldn't get to upset at Danny. The golf swing happens very quickly. The downswing itself happens in less than 1/4 of a second. In my opinion, you guys may think you contradict each other. BUT the slow mo picture FROZEN in time, says your both are right. I wish I could do all the things you do with the swing path and club face. If I could, I doubt I'd watch all these videos!

Absolutely no rival of Danny - admire what he has created in every sense of the word. I wish everyone well with helping the worlds golfers. 😊

Hi Stu...new to your channel, from 🇨🇦. Would love if you added slo-mo of your sample shots after explaining technique ideas 🙏 Appreciate your unique viewpoint as I've had lessons from 3 local coaches- one wanted me to "spin from the top like in a barrel", another had me super strong grip n slam the face closed til I started hitting left ( chronic slicer, surprise, surprise ). The third had me doing front leg stork drill....none of this garbage helped, but not giving up. fyi had my first hole in one June 1st ...that'll keep ya coming back, won't it ? Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

Really interesting! My grip for some reason has got weaker and my trail arm bends more than ever! If I shorten my swing I seem to shank it! As I need time to square the face up. I need to strengthen my grip and get it wider going back I think

Yeah thats what i was alluding to when i commented on your last video. My right arm gets super narrow at the top and goes long coming down. Flip-Flip-Hooray.

Fantastic, glad the video hit the spot for you!

Stu, excellent explanation of how the trail arm moves naturally during the swing without having to manipulate it. Again, you’re talking about a natural swing and not one manufactured, so there is no conscious thought to bend the trail arm in any particular way. Just let it naturally happen in order to make the swing. Cheers.

good stuff here. Would you say that once the wrists are set one could just have a swing thought of straighten the right arm in transition and let the wrists passively release?
@GoodGolfCoaching6 ай бұрын
I’m not sure that would feel powerful but it would create structure, my concern is there may be repercussions elsewhere in your movement but can’t be sure without seeing you swing so I’d proceed with caution. Best wishes Stu

Hi Stu, been watching a lot of your video and really emphasised on your recommended strong grip. Got the ball amazingly straighter but seems to be loosing some distance. Any pointers to get my distance back.

I would encourage you to go down my leg action videos now you have the blade in better shape. If you’ve been weak gripped, your body will have died a slow death when it comes to dynamics. Hope that helps.

Hi Stu, what are your thoughts about keeping both triceps connected with chest on backswing and pre impact downswing? It is an old concept and could never get it to work with trying to tuck right elbow on downswing. With your advice that right shoulder should actively move out on downswing it does seem to help.

Trapping anything in a movement is dysfunctional as far as I’m concerned. Can you give me another example in any other sport where you’ve trap a body part to improve movement. Totally conflicting. Hope that helps Mel. Best wishes Stu

Bravo Stu. But in the two lever system note how long your lead arm stays Internal. That facilitates the Sending of the Right thru the Eye of the Needle!

Hi Stu, i use the skipping the stone action across water,but a lot of young ones today have never done that ahhahaha Do you find that people generally have big problems in the re connection with their trail arm in the down swing ? also so nice to see people are starting to have trust in your teaching,love seeing true pros linking the swing up instead of static positions. KUDOS SIR.
@GoodGolfCoaching6 ай бұрын
Thanks John; the link up with the trail arm is absolutely a left hip, right shoulder and low point synergy to fix the right arm link arm. The arm not reconnecting is symptom not the problem. I have your email and will be in touch later. Best wishes Stu
