⭕️ I relate to Kettle Corn more than I’d like to admit 😂, I’ve low key been panicking lately cause I have no idea what I want to do as a career. I’ve always been interested in drawing/animating/writing and I’ve literally never considered doing anything else since art has been my passion since I was 5. I know I gotta have a stable career but I just wanna go draw circles lol

You seem more like you relate to Rumble as well (and Kettle Corn too!). In the episode, Rumble loves to fly and wants to be a Wonderbolt like his brother more than anything in the world. But he doesn't have his cutie mark yet, so he starts to panic that maybe his special talent might not be in flying (even though he is a very gifted flyer). He desperately doesn't want that, so he refuses to try other activities and even manipulates his friends into not doing other activities either, convincing them that if they get a cutie mark in something thats not their passion, they'll be stuck doing it forever and won't have time to do the thing they like. In the end, he realizes that he can relax a bit and try other things. He knows he's a great flyer and is still convinced that's his calling, but he is open to exploring other things and keeping his options open, realizing he can have more than one interest and might discover more about himself if he continues to try other things x3 Kettle Corn is the first in her group that the CMC tutor to get a cutie mark. She loves drawing circles and doing other things, but her cutie mark is in making haikus. She doubts herself a bit as Rumble manipulates her, but she realizes she can still have her special talent as haiku's and have other interests as well (she doesn't have to haiku all of the time) x3 Sorry for the long plot summary XD I hope you do make it on the career path you want. I pray you do! 😁✝️🩷 But do your best to relax a bit and don't forget to enjoy the other options and activities that life has to offer. 😁

⭕ My art is very Team Rocket-centered. The thing I love doing the most when I start a WIP is to plan "How will I make it remind me of Team Rocket?". It must be my circle. it can be either making antagonists that are like Jessie, James, Meowth, Ed, Zander, the old lady, Hanson, Sanson, Chase, Sanborn, Dabi, Dana, Okidogi, Munkidori or Fezandipiti or even making the protagonists like them. Characters that remind me of Team Rocket are in almost every story I write and I'm not even sorry.

I was listening to this video in the background as I was doing something that I like to do, but don't think I will do for a living: making art/fan art/redesigns. I am a writer and will sometimes use art to get a visual of an idea in my head. However, I don't plan to share those drawings. And right now, I'm redesigning the character Hunter Huntsman from Ever After High because I thought his outfit was boring and there was an opportunity to have some visual storytelling (and I have also changed his first name to Forest because I hate how his current name is repetitive). I am doing redesigns for many of these characters as an excuse to revisit the world of EAH because it was cancelled (although, I do prefer when a series ends once it makes sense rather than to keep on going for the sake of it). I don't plan on showing these redesigns to anyone. It's just a thing I'm doing for fun.

I love this video! I'd never know about this episode of my little pony if it wasn't for this, because it's on season 7.... It's such an important topic that I don't really see being brought up that often, people aren't bound to one trait and that's ok, we shouldn't be. So thanks Allou, and thanks Kettle Corn, 🔴

You’re right, I can’t think of any other times we’ve ever seen Kettlecorn besides Marks and Recreation 🤔 Working out what you are meant to do is tricky, and I don’t know anyone who’s ever got it all figured out. For me, my special interest is Acting. LOVE theatre. I like performing and the rush of bowing after a successful night. But I realized that the acting INDUSTRY would be far too intense for me, and I can just do it as a hobby. To paraphrase FOB Equestria’s review on this episode, “what you LIKE does not necessarily equate to what you’re meant to do.” And that’s okay! You have time to figure it out!

⭕️ Out of all the one-time secondary ponies we saw across MLP:FiM, Kettle Corn has one of my favorite designs for sure! It's really neat finding a minor character whom you share a very specific but special connection with, isn't it? I have a few of those myself. 😊 And it's cool how that episode and others in this show remind us of life lessons that may seem obvious at first glance, but we don't really think about that often, and we could use reminders of from time to time! It's one of the things that made the show special. ♡ Funnily enough, my situation might be the opposite to yours, in that drawing is my "haiku-writing", and writing is my "drawing circles", so to speak xD I do love drawing and enjoy doing it very much, but it is my job and constantly attempt to improve myself in it. And when I want to unwind or do something creative that's different than that, writing probably works best, whether it be working on a story or literally just writing out my thoughts and opinions of the moment. It's something I weirdly enjoy but that I don't intend to pursue as a career. Same can be said for some of my non-art related hobbies like singing, chess, or the ocassional AMV. They're just for fun. 😁✨ P.S: I had not realized that subtle similarity between "Marks and Recreation" and "High School Musical", but now I won't be able to unsee it. 😂

⭕ I really liked the video. The lesson is very nice and inspiring "Having other interests instead of a main one", I have other interests other than art but I still like them as much. I just do them for fun and don't want to make a career out of them. Nice Kettle Corn.

⭕️ Tbh as much as I watched mlp as a kid I feel like I overlooked some of these episodes I found them entertaining and loved them but I guess my kid brain didn't get the message sometimes as for my thing I do for fun but don't want to turn into a career youtube/gaming I love to play game and record them but I would consider ot a hobby while I try and get better and drawing and animation for what I do wnat to do which is be a animator/writer

@@Translucentmoonlight Ah good guess but no. I like baking pancakes sometimes but my favourite thing to bake is brownies. I bake chocolate chip cookies, brownies, cupcakes, cakes, chicken pot pie, pasta bake and cook pasta, spaghetti, curries, etc. I can make curry and have tried a few recipes like butter chicken, palak paneer etc. I used to make fried rice and even tried Chinese curry once! I'm quite good and cooking and baking at 16 I had food and nutrition at school and I'm a foodie by nature LOL
