no disrespect but another civilian that has played to many games and watch too many movies have zero understanding of the real spec ops community and what Tier one Tier two and tier three operators do. This dudes GPA is minimum and he not even prepping himself at what is the most necessary attribute skillset needed to do best at what seals do and that is to swim in the ocean. This aint no freaking game. Seals lives are at stake and depend on the quality of great seals to complete missions. What aggrevates me is these civilians create a mindset of tunnel vision and do not understand the capabilities of the entire SOF community yet along the entire military as a whole.

@@jakezweig I have to blame mostly the movies, media and video games. they distort and cloud the reality of the military. we don't operator solo in a enemy camp yet along fire missiles from a rocket launcher from a HELO or drive Humvees all day. Got to love the infinity never run out of ammo magazines being fired from a M4 firing from the hip in a reaction to contact firefight scene. . and the wearing of class A or B dress uniforms with our decorations in combat. I mean the list goes on and on. I have to explain to 99 percent of civilians that almost all military movies are actors and the crap they are doing in movies is wrong and inaccurate . the movie Basic with Samuel Jackson is a slap in the face to what real rangers do

How diverse are all the teams? African American, Hispanic, Asian etc if you would put it in a Percentage? This could be a good topic to make a video on like why minorities aren't as interested in becoming operators from my point of view at least that's how it looks. Is it a culture thing and how we are raised from going to school to different obstacles in life like being poor, 1st generation Americans with parents who raise them like the old country, or maybe even a genetic thing.

It has much more to do with parenting and the lack of exposure coming up and it's in many professional fields across the board. Not just special forces. Obstacles were more prevalent back then because racism was more overt and out there. Now when a minority young person looks to step into something that's usually dominated by white people, they have to listen to grown people tell them that only white people do that stuff. Over time, this is an issue that's best resolved by the internet and a generation that's more open minded and able to get our offsprings the resources and connect them with the right people instead of blowing them off like previous generations done. It's not genetics. It's not racist laws. It's simply lack of exposure which is why it's important for young minorities to see people who look like them in those positions. There's no shortage of minority athletes and entertainers being shoved in our faces so that's what people gravitate to the most. That's a whole other topic that relates to media but still tie in to why minorities aren't interested in many fields that whites dominate in.
