Its refreshing to see how minor tweaks can really increase the performance of a workout. Thanks for some tweaks I have been slacking on. I hate kickbacks so I just do skullcrushers instead.

A HARD NO on the bench dips. I like keeping my shoulders healthy. There are way too many other alternatives to save your shoulders from injury. Especially if you have cranky ones like I do.

You can stand back abit or you can stand directly infront of it which I usually do just because I like to stand up straight and be parallel with the rope when doing my triceps there is alot of ways of doing your triceps but I guess what ever suits you and your comfort and what works for you best

Josh, I stopped using the rope. With the small V bar I am able to handle more weight and able to feel the squeeze. After training chest and shoulders my triceps are worked anyway. I'll start heavy and after each set I'll drop down by 2. I'm thinking 5 sets, then 1 set on the dip bar, not leaning forward, I'll have assistance from my shoulder and chest to trash my triceps even more.

The problem is usually that most people in the gym don't try out what stresses the muscle. You can feel whether it is right or wrong when the muscle starts to burn.
