Yo soy brasileña y a menudo uso "muy" por miedo a hablar "portunhol", ¡pero de hecho hay muchas palabras iguales en ambos idiomas!" (bastante, super, realmente, altamente, excelente, péssimo, gigante/enorme, horroroso, delicioso(a), eufórico(a), furioso(a), genial/fantástico/magnífico)

Do not worry about it. It is absolutely normal to use muy all the time and you should use it till you learn further vocabulary over time which of course you will if you stick with it. As a native spanish speaker I can tell that I used to say very nonstop. Skip these videos that want you to get away from natural features of your target language - the vocabulary given is useful tough- Cheers!
