I think this video made me cry because it made me realize that finding happiness often lies in simplicity. That taking care of yourself doesn't have to be over-complicated. You make sure you stay warm, you eat healthy, you take time to care for your body in the evenings by doing yoga and relaxing after, you appreciate music and dance and sing without a care, you pursue your hobbies, you go for walks with your dog and spend time with your animals and make sure they feel loved, you spend moments loving and laughing with your family, and you go out and enjoy nature, because sometimes being out in nature makes you feel really small in this great big world, and then maybe your problems don't seem as big either in the grand scheme of things, and it's therapeutic. I think that's really beautiful, and thank you for sharing some moments with people like me. Watching this filled me with a sense of clarity that I have been meaning to find for some time now.

This makes me appreciate my own life even more. We live in a house boat in Finland and sometimes it is hard because in winter it gets cold and we have wood heating. People complain to us for having our wood on the deck and how sometimes our clothes smell of smoke. We do ecerything ourselves. We also have a summer place on an island which is kind of our second home. It is nice to be surrounded by the elements and we have a vegetable garden and we fish when we're at the cottage. It is hard sometimes but I know I'm happier this way than living in a small apartment with everything made ready for me: heating, water, someone coming to fix stuff for you, buying food ready made from the store... I want to live as environmentally friendly as possible and close to nature.

That sounds like the best kind of life, to be honest. Free from modern society in a way. But it's hard for many that live in very built up countries because most don't let you have land to do with as you will - and if they do it costs so much money that it's almost impossible. After watching these videos, it almost makes me sad that I don't live in a country that has forests for miles in every direction. Or beautiful scenery unspoiled by a big grey road, or power cables. You and Jonna live the dream.

I've recently come across your videos and I feel like there does not have to be a purpose in life other than simply being alive and living each present moment for itself without thinking about the past or future. I love how you can live in such a cold and gloomy environment with such little people around and yet light up the whole place. You're simply an angel Jonna. Megha Sharma Yes, there’s no purpose of life. So the past, present and future are alike. Living in a cold and gloomy world between few people is her secret to continue living happily. Because more people, more the ruiners and more the trash 🗑 😂 living a happy life in hard conditions is easier as the people keep away from extreme hot/ cold climates. In India, there are only few places left for that experience. North east, thar desert 🐪 and few places in Uttarakhand. But wait check if those places are safe for women. As you’re aware what’s plight of a lonely woman in India.

I'm so fascinated by Sweden, I'd love to see your country someday. It looks so remote and beautiful. Do you get lonely living so remote or do you thrive on the unpopulated natural surroundings ? By the way, don't feel obligated to answer if its too personal, I'm just wondering. Thank you again for such beautiful peaceful escape that fills the soul. Blessings to you both. I just donated to your patreon, and while I have never given into other creators’ begs for patreon support, I can honestly say you're one of the few who genuinely deserve it. The passion that flows into your works of art, be it jewelry, photographs, or kulning (which I didn’t know existed before I stumbled onto your videos, and after finding out what it was, I wished I had stumbled onto your videos sooner!), whatever you create just brings a sense of calm and serenity to me, and I’m sure to all of your fans. Though I haven’t watched all your videos on KZbin, I’ve seen enough to know that your talent flows just as much from your passion as your bright personality. If anybody on the internet deserves donations for their work, you are without a doubt the only person that comes to mind. In all honesty, your work deserves more than just the five dollars I’m giving, and if I can, I’ll try and give more. Hopefully this tiny amount will still help in some way with your work, which I think genuinely improves and betters peoples’ lives with the peace and calm you express through your art (well, it’s done that for me anyway). Keep up the amazing work! And personally, thank you for helping me relax from all the stress in life (And I hear you have an album coming out, I know it’ll be amazing!)

It's so easy to stop eating meat...I hope you do walk away from it. I think Jonna is a vegetarian too. I've been eating this way for 10 years and I never get sick, have realms of energy, lost weight without even trying and people always think I'm 10 or more years younger than my actual age. I stopped eating meat not for those reasons, but for the animals. These are just added perks. Animals value their lives as much as we do, they want to live. Please put peace on your plate and watch "Earthlings" . "The Game Changer", Forks Over Knvies. What the Health, The Cowspiracy Theory, to name but a few docs on Netflix.
@abouteverything60074 жыл бұрын
@@maryanne8395 It's hard for some to get their intake of vit. Proteins and other things from just veggies, so not everyone can live that way. Truth be told to oneself we are designed to eat meat, the reason people this days see that as a bad thing it's cause of all the animals they mistreated in slaughterhouses and cause gouverments don't allow you to own farm animals in every region+ getting hunters to "clean" the forests as much as possible so that we are forced to buy from supermarkets.. It's ok to eat meat as long as you kill and treat with respect the animal that's gonna become your next meal/s. In some. Parts of the planet meat it's easier to find than vegetables and fruits. I love animals as well I have more respect for them than I got for the "modern human" but come on be fair and true to yourself.. If I'm gonna be out all day cutting wood and working on other things then I'd rather have a piece of meat with my vegetables otherwise 1 I would need to much food 2 I would probably have a hard time when I'd be older because of that. Not everyone gonna agree but ohh well, each to his own

Aw how beautiful when your pet cow( sorry I can't spell her name) came to you when you called her name. She's so beautiful,my eyes welled up when she put her nose against you and licked. So pretty,I hope she is happy with her companions.

why?
@VioletSMH6 жыл бұрын
I think I know why because I have the same. In my case it's the longing for freedom she shows. She probably has it, but us, sitting in front of our PCs, at our homes, going to boring work or school, it is something different, a free life. WE all can call it a free life. I know you can have it if you work hard enough, but for some people like me it is not possible. Hence every time I watch Jonna's videos or photos she shares with us, it feels like a fresh breeze, that feeling of freedom you will never have because of how our world functions nowadays. It feels like you can just fly away you know? I don't know if I explained it correctly, can't exactly explain this feeling, the longing for freedom. Jonna shows her spontaneousness in these videos and that's why I love her for it. She's like a little white fairy. If I did this somewhere in my hometown, people would say I'm mental. (I know you shouldn't care). I just wish I had my own place on Earth like Jonna does :)

Cheeky PJ i think you re only screwed if you have family of your own to raise. But if you re all alone, i think it would be more or less possible, life like that. There is this guy on youtube, shows how to build a cabin in the woods from scratch. Even builds it himself. Says how much would it all cost n stuff. U might wana check that out kzbin.info/www/bejne/oWnSiJ9joK9riNk

@@VioletSMH I felt the same with you. We probably live in other countries, I am Turkish, but I know in everywhere in this world, there is people like us. Don't want to work in a job like everyone else, don't want to live in apartments but wants go to the forest, or sea, and listen the songs of our heart and be free...

:D Mer, mer, mer! :D:D

Åhh men tack!

❄️ The sparkling magic of sunlight twinkling over the landscape of pristine white, to glittering snowflakes falling from the treetops, to the lovely crunchy/squeaky sound of walking on it. Thank you for bringing us the joy of snow! I grew up in a part of the world with lots of snow now live where there none and miss it so!

I love the dynamic you have with your husband. You both create and take apart to do so. Its really sweet to see you in your own space, being silly and playing almost and then snuggling into by yourself at night, but of course you still in love with your husband who is totally complete even if you are not by his side all the time. its amazing.

I just found your videos and they resonate to my very soul. I am struck by the beauty you have captured in this video, the very best times of my life were the days of cross country skiing on a nearby frozen river in midwest USA with my dogs, after a kilometer or so, all traces of modern civilisation disappeared and we were experiencing nature as it would have been for the native Americans. Sadly, the last time I was able to do this is almost twenty five years ago, my last dog passed away at that time, I buried him on the bank of this river that we both loved so much. A few years later I moved to South Florida ( the land of eternal summer) and I have been missing winter for 20 years now. Thank you for this amazing video!
