I think we all figured out that this creepy guy was one and Vecna but when we found out that he was also Henry, it blew out mind. It was the best plot twist I ever watched.

It's a triple plot twist and that was so smart. Making a plot twist no one will guess is impossible. Making three plot twist at once though, and we will all figure part of it (I guessed he was 1 from the very beginning for example, but I only guessed he was Vecna when we were supposed to guess it because it was only logical to me that his victims looked like Vecna's (remember that they accuse 11 for this very reason. They say that Vecna's victims looked like they were killed using 11's powers so I knew it would look like his powers just as well and had no particular reason to make note of it). I did think in the moment that there was no way Henry was dead (there was literally no reason to add the coma detail otherwise) but it did not occur to me that he could be Vecna. Most people will guess the 001 reveal, some will guess the Vecna before that episode, but almost no one will guess all three.

I believe that the setting with the red lighting is actually inside Vecna's mind, which is why the images of the Creel house are broken and surreal.

saying 001 is like Palpatine is pretty funny since Palpatine got his ugly wrinkly look when using his force lightning on Windu and 001 got his ugly wrinkly vecna look from being struck by lightning. Also, it's believed that 001 actually let the others out and shut the camera off so they could mess with El so that 001 could manipulate El and make her believe it was Papa's doing with the hopes that El would take his side as she saw him as a friend and remove the device that was dampening his powers. As for killing all the other kids, I think that 001, with his dislike for humans already, didn't think they were deserving of the powers but saw potential in El which is why he kept her alive.

First of all huge props to Jamie Bower, he steals the whole show, no joke. He is the real deal acting wise and brought 001 to life in the best possible way imaginable. The whole section couldn't have been done better and him being cast to this role is beyond fitting. Masterful direction and masterful acting joined together to create an absolutely S tier scene. This is how you create a character like this. For him losing to 11 don't forget that his power was supressed for years. He is for sure the original, the one that all other numbers stemmed from and it makes sense that he is the most powerful. Look how much more powerful he was from 002 literally minutes after taking the chip off of him. 11 was momentarily able to overpower him due to him being much weaker being numb and tortured for all these years. He had not expected that for sure and 11 went all out on this moment which makes the whole thing extra personal.

The pipe that the "orderly" pulled the cover off of is the same pipe that Eleven used to escape three years later. If you remember what Brenner said when he was talking to all of the other children in the room where they were going to do the "circle" exercise, he was standing directly in front of Eleven when he said something to the effect that they should not allow their emotions to invade their thoughts. Every time Kali (008), and the orderly (001) told her to use something from her past that made her angry or sad. Brenner was (IMO) telling Eleven not to use her anger to draw upon while using her powers. At the end in the fight with 001 her memory was being born and her mother telling her "Jane I love you", then she regains her self control to use against 001.

She didn’t create the portal through him, she sent him there and it closed the portal was in another room when she got scared and made physic contact with the demogorgan that she couldn’t control

It was the first gate tho, in episode 4x8 papa realised she sent 001 into another dimension in which he used her to try search for Henry (001) in the darkness. Which is when she made contact with the demogorgan

It’s not the same gate - the one in the rainbow room completely closed up and just left the tiles cracked, the one we see her open on November 6th, 1983 after making contact with the Demogorgon was a brand new one in the lab containing the isolation tank.

Good stuff guys, this season really was awesome. Can’t wait for the last 2 reactions, I’m sad it’s over tho and it’ll be multiple years before the final season, you watch the season and it’s awesome and then you realize damn that shit is over and it’s gonna be years before we get more.

It won't be as long as this one took. S4 took ages because shortly after filming it started, COVID happened.

@@bridgethaines7127 it’s still gonna long, the scale of s5 is gonna be huge and it’s a complicated show to shoot with so many significant characters who are always split up in multiple groups. It’s also gonna have a crazy amount of VFX which takes forever, I think it’ll probably be a little shorter wait than for s4 but I think at the absolute minimum it takes at least 2 years. At this point at the scale the show is at and with all the characters and vfx it’s not a show that can get shot and put out at a fast paced. S5 still needs to be written as well and all the actors have all sorts of other projects etc. it’s complicated and will take a long time but it will very likely pay off just like s4 did. The wait is gonna be tough for us huge fans tho
