How many times a week should this be done? Also your videos are very very helpful. A lot of people skip so many steps and leave you thinking how you get from step 1 to 2, what's needed in between but yours are very clear. Really helpful.
@mazen.movement3 ай бұрын
Thanks! If you serious about handstands, I recommend at least 4 times a week, but if you are just casually looking for better wrists, then twice a week is fine!

This is great thank you :) what do I do if step three hurts my wrist if I lean too far? Should I stop where it starts hurting or power through?
@mazen.movement Жыл бұрын
Definitely stop before the pain but get really comfortable with that limit... you'll find it will quickly increase (sometimes even within the same session)

Great video! It's been a long time since I've done wrist training or any handstands. I'm curious, you mentioned ganglion cysts. Did they shrink from consistent wrist work? I'd love a better explanation of that if you can. Again, great stuff!
@mazen.movement Жыл бұрын
At the time I got scared and stopped working out altogether for about a year (other life situations played in to that too) and they had shrunk by then... when I got back, I was conditioning from the start so they never showed up again.
@aer3392 Жыл бұрын
@@mazen.movement ahh I understand. I stopped doing handstands and a lot of other things because of them and they still haven't gone away, maybe I'll do the light stretches you have and see if the extra blood flow can help. Thanks for the reply!

@@aer3392 yes the phases 1 and 2 should be safe... but im not sure if they will help with the draining of the cysts

Hey Mazen, I have a problem with my right wrist, it has stopped me from working out light- heavy at the gym, due to the fact of having a ganglion cyst on the carpal bones upper facing side. Would this help or relieve me or worsen the situation. ps: the doctor gave me no hope and told me to pay for an operation if the pain is getting unbearable. Its been 2 years since i worked out so the cysts has decreased alot, but we i work out it start to grow and i feel the pain.
@mazen.movement Жыл бұрын
I had stopped working out till my cysts were gone (for other life reasons too) so I don't know about doing the routine while the cysts are still out. However there should be no harm in trying phases 1 and 2 of the practice where the wrists are not very load bearing and see of how you feel after one or two sessions and re-asses

It depends what the kind/cause of pain... in general, start slowly and see how your wrists respond.. if it doesn't feel right, stop
