Your hair looks very pretty and healthy. When I was young, my grandmother (who was born in 1884) told me that a lot of women and girls would wash and condition their hair every Monday morning. Then they would stretch their hair by wrapping it tightly with narrow strips of cloth and leave it like that the entire week. They would unwrap it on Sunday morning and style it for church.

@mrs.65467 жыл бұрын
Berlenska Desir , I wonder if you used this banding method she showed, while 1st parting your hair like you want to, and then bobby pinning that part down and using some edging pomade or strong gel or something... well, maybe that would help you to create a defined part like you said u r wanting... I dunno if it will work, as I've never tried it myself, but I hope that helps you out some. Good luck sweetie! Please comment back after, and let us know how it turns out for ya, and what all you do to get that part; Im curious.

@KaniyaButterfly7 жыл бұрын
I tried this like last month but I used bigger bands and my hair took 3 days to dry 😭. I got so frustrated so I just went back to a coily puff because I wasn't happy with the results, it stretched my hair but not to its full length, plus I do have dryer and duller looking curls (not as shinny) so it wasn't really appealing to me. However you encouraged me to try again since my hair is a tad bit tighter than yours. Thanks ❤️
@TyJalayahRobertson7 жыл бұрын
+Niya Marie 3 days 😳 oh no lol is your hair long? Maybe it takes longer for the full length of it to dry or it could possibly be from having more thickness/density also. Try to squeeze dry your hair as much as you can to to speed up dry time. Thanks for giving it a try though! If all fails (hopefully not lol) you can try a different stretch method to see if another method may work better for your hair! Thanks for letting me know your experience with this method, goodluck on your 2nd attempt. Stay patient! You'll find the perfect stretch/method soon ❤️
