Striped Bass Catch and Cook

Catching and cooking up a Striped Bass. Got out early this morning in Hull and got on some great fish, and saw some awesome bird action. Filleted and fried up the Striper and made some tacos.
Also, mid fight my reel broke and I had to manually pull in a 30+ inch fish lol!

Are you still using the 30’ rapala? I went out of seaport on saturday with a umbrella rig and live mackys and we got 0 stripers. Went from 830am -1pm. Great content!

@@PinkUniversalTrader Yes caught these both on the xrap. I highly recommend it though both of the things you tried definitely work. If you are going to stay that close to the city I would try to use bright colored lures as the water tends to be murkier and visibility is lower. Also would recommend going a bit earlier
