1. Finish what you begin. But how do we do it? We can do better by breaking our current task into smaller parts and executing those smaller parts. Thus we end up finishing what we started. When we finish sub-tasks, for every subtask we feel rewarded. If we do not break the task to subtasks, we may/may not finish what we started and end up ghosting the task. So, keep smaller goals and achieve them, then go for a higher one. Happy productivity!

@nirbhay_raghav
@nirbhay_raghav 3 жыл бұрын
Becoming a monk and doing business is the new swag. Be it any guru that you see today. It is business like any other. Humans have a tendency to follow people like gurus and mystic is just a fancy name to brand your marketing much better. If you get offended its your basic instinct of a human to follow a leader (guru here) is coming out. Don't let it. No one in this era of life has a key to living a healthy and successful life. No one. So no one is right and no one is fully wrong. Just dont follow a person thinking whatever they say will work for you. They dont know you. Take everything that is good in everyone and make it yours. Not just these businessmen.
@DS-yz7ye
@DS-yz7ye 3 жыл бұрын
@@nirbhay_raghav dear, yes there r self styled godmen who dupe ppl. But I think most people have this much 'wisodm' to know whether a guru belongs to asaram, ram rahim, nirmal baba kind of category. But they r free to follow whoever they want to depending upon their interests. As far as 'business' is concerned, why can't monks SELL (if that's where u think the problem is) their skills and knowledge? Afterall they do not get any special previleges in monetary terms, any tax exemptions, nothing. Moreover, people don't value what's for free!! And I think it's the noblest way of earning money.. by helping people. :)
@nirbhay_raghav
@nirbhay_raghav 3 жыл бұрын
@@DS-yz7ye The point is the very definition of a monk in any culture is far away from money or benifits. There was nor is any need for someone to be a monk just to sell their skills. Being a monk is not a profession. But I guess in the world we live today everything is.

Everyone thinks that willpower is something difficult to cultivate, but thanks to Dandapani, we see that willpower and discipline start with completing the smallest tasks. When we accomplish even the smallest things, it gradually becomes a part of our character and helps us build discipline for larger goals!

Oh, I needed this. I was caring for my mother for two and a half years due to her ALS, she died last month and suddenly my schedule, which was a none stop ritual 7 days a week, came to a halt. I now wake up in the morning and cannot get up after 2 hours. I simply cannot, i feel glued, even if I have to go to the restroom or my body aches from lying down for too long. This is probably what I need, a good morning routine to give me that willpower to go to work without a rush. Thank you!

Many of us work & most often (over the years) we begin to backslide & produce less or of lesser quality. If you begin to realize this about yourself your first "willpower goals" can be to arrive at your work punctually & well rested...this is respecting your work. Look there for your unfinished projects & hold THEM in your mind & work to their completion even if you are given other assignments throughout the day. These are the things I do to develop willpower in my work life. It is ongoing.

Yes humility! You need to think of the consequence before making the decision! I wrote a chance of choice on probabilty of possibility! Man you can literally apply it to every decisin you ever make!

Dear Dandapani the quote about making your bed every morning " so you started your day with a win (and at night you come back to win and make sure you have a full circle of success) or you feel accomplished" is in Jim kwik training, and also admiral MC Raven speach.

He didn't claim that it's his own concept. Try to learn and not to complain. When a teacher talks about gravity in 10th standards class does he need to tell that he didn't discover it? They know right?

@@geetakharva7733 thank you for the expansion, I Know he didn't claim that, in his speech he said and I quote that " I feel I am a terrible teacher" . I just wanted to say that "this mindset" is not from his lessons, it has been mixed up with other lessons.

Very good video! We are both in our 80's and feel better than ever! We are all about healthy aging -- maintaining a strong body, a calm mind, and a very positive outlook. We are doing research for our new Healthy-Aging Advice KZbin channel to make it a success. Our hope is to inspire others. Learned a lot here. Thank-you.

The past year or two I have worked hard on dividing time out of the day for me. To create, learn, etc. My urge to work for myself and not others has been coming up a lot. It will take hard work and dedication but I won't give up until I reach my goal of owning my own business.

1. Incremental Approach - Finishing things you started - Increase quantity - Increase Quality 2. Understand Non-Negotiable Recurring Things. And apply the 1st approach to it. Will Power is a mental muscle. It is to be able to control where my awareness is going.
