Pete is one the few that can take a demo video and turn it into a master performance. Wonder how many Flint buyers were motivated by this vid? Strymon you're lucky to have someone put this much effort and talent in a demo of your product.

I know this is 6 years old but some of the tastiest playing I've heard Pete do and that's saying something. The sound through the Divided by 13 and the JHS pedal through the Flint was ferociously good.

This guy knows how to sell a pedal! So often demonstrators will play something that the effect does not suit at all. Well done Pete.

It's a /13 FTR 37 with matching cab... and I'm using a Seven Sisters compressor pedal, into the Flint, into the amp.

Very nice demo. I apprecate that you showed the settings used. This and other demos are making me want to buy this pedal for the verstility even though my amp has tube trem and tube reverb.

I just bought one I can't wait to get it!! It'll be played through a 65 Fender Twin with vibrato but no verb. It's a 65 Fender Rhodes with a Fender Twin tube amp in it, A Fender Bassman Ri, Fender Vibrochamp EC version, and a Sovtk mig 60, I've been looking for that Twin reverb sounding verb… I think I just found it. Thanks for posting!! Very soothing stuff. Nice!

Hey man, great playing! I was wondering if the last riff is a song? Sounds kinda based off Breathe, but with some really interesting chords. And if it isn't, would you mind me making something out of it? Cheers man!

Hi Pete great demo, very professional as usual. I think the Flint is still a very good pedal even for today's standard. Absolutely love the warmth of both trem and reverb. May I ask what drum machine/module do you use in your videos? Thanks, Ben

Just beautiful. This goes to show that great tone is under your fingers, there is a magic. You can have the best fx in the world and still not sound this good. The combination of both is the key. Cheers Pete.

Pete, would you say the Flynt is the best reverb pedal out there and the best tremolo pedal as well?
@dfenton19576 жыл бұрын
As always, great demo Pete! I have a question. I know you like nice buffers that just bring the quality of the tone up a bit, like the Son of Kong for example. It sounds like from your demo that the Flint also has a nice buffer, or is that my imagination.
@scottlurken96678 жыл бұрын
A-Mazing...the Strymon is cool too! It has been a year since I first posted this comment. That said, I have come back to this demo a dozen or so times just to hear Pete’s fantastic work. Hey Pete, I bet that I am not the only one who would like (very much) to here more of the three pieces in this video/demo. Have you expanded on these arrangements?
@davidclayson11 жыл бұрын
Hi pete, great video, the playing is very inspirational. Could you tell me if the song from 1:08 to 2:20 is from a recorded song of yours or has since been made into a full song? I've just spent the afternoon trying to work it out by ear/eyes. Came for a gear demo, came away with some awesome playing styles, thanks!
