Iridium is still the best IR loader on the market and the amps sounds amazing. Remember that you can turn off the amp sims if you want, truly an amazing product.

Can you have a different cab L and a different cab R? That’s would really make running stereo even better.

I also just learned that you can download a Null Cab IR that you can use if you'd like to connect to a power amp and real cab. Cool.

when you connect the pedal you can not see the preset saved as a favorite in the software?

when an impulse response is added, is the preset that I have saved as a favorite lost?

Please make an iOS impulse manager for phones and iPads

I’d love to be able to toggle the amp off/ on as a preset parameter. Then I could use great acoustic IRs without fumbling with power cable and power up POP. With MIDI I could turn an amp off, and/ or I could save a preset with cab off in the Manager. Please Strymon...consider this in an update. It will extend the reach of the product.

Thanks for the feedback! I can't say what we are or aren't working on, but it's always important to us to hear from our customers!

I’d like to think Strymon is giving this serious consideration. It should be easy to implement in a software update ...it wouldn’t impact any of the current use cases...and coul grow the user base and market. What’s the downside?

@@strymon hello! Today tried IRs from two of yours partners. CabIR EU and from Celestion. Dowload and use 24-96-500 files. And see an error in Iridium IR-manager that wavs are not 24/96. A bit surprised. Sent you email with details for support.

The problem was setteled by Markus from CabIR. The root folder was in Cyrrilic. The error mesage in IR-manager is incorrect.

Are there Bass IR's available ? I use guitar and bass equally and it would be nice not to have to buy 2 different pedals.
@strymon2 жыл бұрын
There aren't any bass IRs preloaded, but you can load your own bass IRs as long as they are 24-bit 96kHz :)

Missing content from the Iridium tutorials: 1) No discussion or feature where you can view CC# control data, and test that patch MIDI data is being sent/received. 2) No MIDI program data storage for various settings. 3) No MIDI stream window so you can check to make sure you are using the proper TRS to MIDI DIN connector (specifically if the tip and ring are to be reversed or not depending on if the data is being sent or received). 4) All videos on programming the Iridium don't show data streams, Iridium USB connection doesn't let you see the CC# data, or check data streams when changing patches. Owner's manual boasts of over 100 places to save settings, but they never explain how to recall any of them, or how to place them in their respective locations. 5) No KZbin videos explaining how to work around all the above details, or explaining little or nothing about the above information. 6) No discission on proper cable to purchase for MIDI transfer between pedal and MIDI DIN plugs. You should be able to connect a TRS to the Iridium with two male MIDI DIN connectors at the other end to drive an FCB 1010, but not a mention of this cable, and the proper schematic for making one out of a single MIDI cable. 7) Nothing about when the Iridium will be sending MIDI data CC# messages, and how to know what to expect when a MIDI viewer is used, having examples of what the DATA should look like as it is being viewed on a third party MIDI viewer as a patch is changed, or as all CC# data is being sent to an FCB 1010 for programming. Once I figure this out I will be the only person on planet earth who knows how to do this.
