Great album 👍👍🏿... The longer you exist, the better you get. Stryper fan since 1986, when I saw you in the US - and can't wait for you to eventually tour Europe again. Greetings from 🇩🇪

I listen to Stryper constantly and have been for decades. Unlike most bands, very few Stryper songs ever stick in my head, but after hearing Same Old Story just one time, I could not get this song out of my head for days! Amazing! My 3rd favorite song on this album, and it has a killer ending on it. Love that ending!

Thanks for your reactions. Starting with their last album, I come here to hear your reaction before I listen to the song anywhere else. I hope when they finish the new album they will send you a copy to react to before they release it.

This one is my favorite so far. I can't wait to hear the rest of the album and hear your reviews. Just curious if you've done a review of Lillian Axe's latest, From Womb To Tomb? It's a stand out album for the year in my opinion. I'd love to hear your take on it.

Killer song, Michael is know as the voice of Stryper but it should be point out that he is really a that happens to have a incredible heavy metal, rock voice as well as co-lead guitaris and in the up echelons of lead guitarist in any band. But this guitar work is by Michael is off the hook. Great vocals as normal. This close to the THWTD and Soldiers Under Command top1% of Stryper songs
@nicholasadams98812 жыл бұрын
Oh, wow this record, It reminds me so much of 80s Stryper, this song is so anthemic and full of power. The interplay between Michael and Oz during the guitar solo is second to none and this song ooozes classic Stryper for me. Featuring the Queensryche album on my radio this month but I will be featuring this Next month on Nico's Rock Fixx definitely.

I have always loved Stryper. But I will say that the addition of Perry Richardson has been a God send. The rhythm section of him and Robert has to be one of the best ever. the guitar solos get most of the attention, but the rhythm section really drives their songs and I love it.

Great reaction vid, Leigh. Totally agree. They bring it on this song, and the video is great! So catchy. I understand about Michael’s high screams, too. He could do a whole album like that, but chooses the right places to put them in, which compliments the song. It’s like a fine dining experience; you don’t want a whole plate of garnish, but it adds to the ambiance, or overall experience.

Another killer track!!!!!! That guitar tone is incredible and the chorus is SO good. i think I know why we have such great music now. The universe demands balance, and the rest of the world has turned to crap, so the music is only thing keeping the balance right now.

Stryper has returned my excitement to form. I was a fan from the start of their inception all the way through to this song. They renewed that same excitement I got as a kid waiting for their albums to come out. Can’t wait to hear this one. Over and over and...I’ll start with a refresher course by listening to their last four discs back to back until this new one hits. Metal overkill? Nah-Metal overLIFE! God bless and Metal on!

Great review. I truly believe that folks who talk shit about this band due to lyrical content are doing themselves a great disservice. Stryper are delivering music that is top tier hard rock and metal that many of their counterparts wish they could do.
@soldier77782 жыл бұрын
Great review! That song is a grower for me. I like the song but I think I will like it better with time. If that is the weakest track on the album, then we are in for a killer ride for this album and I can't wait for it to hear all of it!

I think the best album that srtyper has ever done is in God we trust. No matter which way you look at it all of stryper albums are great. This is a great reaction though and good song

Can't get enough of your reviews of Stryper songs . Seems like so many of your points are tracking with what I am hearing. But best of all I think you speak like a fan as well as a critic (if that's the right term) ... not like a reviewer who's goal is to speak in ethereal terms no one relates to . Keep up the great work ,Leigh 👊
@dean8282 жыл бұрын
Perry Richardson is in his mid 60's... Robert Sweet not far behind... hard rock/metal bands half their age wish they had rhythm sections that could hang and bang like these two do!
@CYMRUKID692 жыл бұрын
Leigh you said it all man "all killer no filler." That describes No more hell to pay, Fallen, God damn evil, Even the devil believes. All those albums were perfection & The final battle will be the same. I love all the four songs I've heard so far can't wait to hear the rest of the album as Stryper are so consistent at making great music. Long may they rock. This year has been a great year for rock music New albums from Stryper, Iconic, Clean break, Queensryche, Black swan, Dead city ruins I also loved the new material from wings of steel & Leigh it was also you that mentioned striker. Great reviews Leigh long may this channel go from strength to strength. Great stuff.
