While the style may not be to your taste, a lot of passion and effort went into this project to capture a vibe of the band's story and legacy. My goal was to honor that nostalgia while exploring something a bit different creatively. Not a lot of video available from them, but I was able to generate the b-roll to help the retrograded look. No they don't. I adored the 80's Stryper, they were by far my most favorite band, but none of the albums after "Against the Law" (1990) have been good, apart from a song here and there. It's mostly Michael Sweet's solo project soft rock played in Stryper costumes.

I grew up in the 70s and 80s into metal but one day in my senior year of high school 1987 one of my classmates let me borrow a Stryper cassette tape .... Things began to change in my life. At that time I was introduced to Resurrection Band and the Daniel Band from Canada. God used godly metal to deliver me from the domain of darkness to the kingdom of His Son. Saw Stryper at Akron Ohio in '87 with the Hell With the Devil Tour. Amazing concert. Kids were shouting out Jesus name outside after the concert. My Spirit felt alive and refreshed. Bless Stryper.
