Another beautiful painting with fabulous commentary. My one complaint... stop apologizing for your camera, microphone, or having your arm in the way. Treat the negative comments the same way you do the ones about a sky only being blue or talking “too much”. You are allowing us to see your technique, allowing us into your world. We are privileged guests! Yes, the negative nellies can sod off.

I can't see why they bother, and don't just move on. Becoming unbearable on some fronts to read comments and have a sensible conversation. When I hear such talented people apologizing for the camera, the mic, or not being Hollywood, it just saddens me. I still cringe every time I see a new comment pop in my email for an old video. My apologies to everyone for ranting on here tonight, but the complaints regarding free, expert content frosts me.

Beautiful painting again ... and the talking is a huge part of your videos... while many people on YT have jarring voices, poor grammar, and/or rattle on inanely about nothing... you certainly do not!!! I usually watch your videos twice in quick succession and then a third time a few days later. My first watch is with the sound off just for the pure enjoyment of seeing a painting emerge like magic... it also makes me aware of what I don't know/understand... the ''why did he do that?'' phase if you like. Second is definitely sound on, and that's when those ''Ah! That's why he did that!'' moments happen. For me then, the 3rd time without sound is for pure relaxing enjoyment, but it's also where I find out if I have remembered and understood exactly why, what, how you achieved your beautiful painting. Haters are going to hate; critics are going to criticise; but ''quite frankly my dear, I don't give a damn'' about them... and nor should you!!! Massive thanks for sharing your knowledge and artistry. :)

Took a few sittings but made it through another lengthy and beautiful painting. The final product was amazing. As for the ppl complaining about p's and b's and pops, well that's due to inferior headphones. Your voice is quite soothing to listen to and it helps as we follow whilst you're painting. (As you would say if that makes any sense). That's half the reason, for me anyway, why I enjoy your videos, and your shoulder is hardly an obstruction. If ppl wish to complain they can either turn the volume off of they can tap the little X at the top of the screen. PLEASE DON'T CHANGE A THING!

Artistic expression is just that. It’s what YOU have inside and what YOU see transferred on a canvas. It’s your emotion, your vision and your way. Representing a cloud in the way it’s suggested by a critic at the beginning of this video, that is representing anything in a standard, unified way would kill any form of art and originality. You paint YOUR feelings and that’s the spirit of art. If it happens that your painting is appreciated by a multitude of critics and the public then you may add something more to your personal satisfaction to the joy of expressing yourself through art. Thank you Stuart for the great video.

Wonderful. I need to start painting like this also to teach myself to not being too tight when I paint. Using big brushes forces one to be less tight. About those who say that skies can only be blue with white or grey clouds: they never been out and never looked at skies especially at sunrise and sunset and they’ve never put their eyes on paintings by Turner, Dali, Constable, Monet and hundreds of other masters. A sky can be literally any hue on the colour wheel. Same about clouds

i dont get this. I have seen many MANY artists doing helpfulo art videos, and they are really good of course. But I am in the main left with a feeling of trepidation, and inadequacy by watching. Watching you paint however, and listening to your commentary imbues in me an almost hypnotic state, ( a familiar feeling as I am an advanced hypnotherapist), and none of the fear of getting involved and making a mess of it. I am simply drawn toward starting. Cant start yet, packed everything up prior to moving on the 25th. But really consciously looking forward to the summer, painting. Can not believe it. Thankyou so much Stuart. I am going to spend the time between now and my move sourcing oil paints etc, (not so easy here in Cyprus), as I dont have a great deal of oil paint, and it is apparent I need to source some chefs brushes lol.
