I agree they didn't have much awareness of the facts of this particular case, but if politics isn't really their field and they are too busy studying their own subjects to know the details of this controversy, that's understandable. I don't think they gave an answer in this video that I wouldn't agree with though. They were told either that Trump specifically or a high ranking politician had done these things, and so they believed what they were told and they agreed that it was corrupt. If I were told that I would say the same thing. The interviewer straight up lied to them, or at least mislead them on purpose (which I know is the point of these segments, but still it has to be taken into account). Then, when they were told that it was actually Biden, they maintained that it was corrupt and he shouldn't be president. Again, exactly what I would do in their place. I want to add here that I am a Trump supporter. In fact, Trump is too far left for me on most issues. As such, I'm not at all biased in favour of these students whatsoever. If anything, I'm biased against them. However, when I just look at this video and assess it reasonably, I find the students to be pretty fair, given the information they had available to them at the time.

Basically the average middle class income by the hour. The politician and immediate family should not be able to benefit financially from any policy created that does not also benefit the general population. ie they can't create policies that dumb $ into their spouses pockets (*cough* Trudeau *cough*). I just added a comment and some of the content was about how young people of today have to use the word "like" sometimes more than once to complete a sentence. Drives me up the wall!! My kids are 13 and 14 and I've worked with them about not using the word when it's not relevant. I'm 45 and college educated but I grew up in a time when you could actually learn something when you went to school. This was the better of the videos that I've seen on college students reactions. Most were not surprised that it was Biden and his son and most still agreed that it is corruption and should be dealt with. That is HUGE right now. This is progress. Students who aren't making it about partisan politics and making it about issues and actions. That's how it should be. Props to the guy that pays attention, and the girl that admitted she really doesn't pay attention and wasn't sure. None of these young people freaked out. None of them said it had to be a lie. This is the hope for the future.

i'm glad they learned from the baby boomer generation that has been a massive chunk of self serving, wasteful members of american society. They give very little back to the well they take so much from. They love to throw their own children under the bus as well to get ahead.
