@@offroadskater orders came in today probably gonna be sent in June now, we are stocking common parts, that should speed up the production, but there's gonna be a 2 month waiting since we are order to manufacture.

Honestly that reject pile looks fine. Remember we're just gonna ride them off-road and get everything scratched up, so I'm not sad if it's not visually perfect. Long as it's dimensionally accurate and keeps the batteries dry. Very excited to see the motor factory.

I really appreciate how much you're sharing of the process, given I find manufacturing quite interesting it's a really cool look into how an actual product comes to be. Also really shows that manufacturing is NOT EASY and takes a lot of skill, knowledge, and just time to iterate to make a really good product. As other's have mentioned: battery/controller boxes I would not be as worried about the cosmetics and certainly you could sell those at half price as parts and plenty of us would gladly buy them! Really excellent looking parts and greatly appreciate how attention to detail you're taking with everything.

Im super curious as to how the software will work, not sure if you guys are working on that at the same time as the boards but im excited to know whats in store. Will you provide parameters we can use to do our own tunes in VESC tool or will you make a software to work on its own?

it supports vesc tool, float control,xmatic, both Android and IOS. already 3 app that all have all kinds of features. I doubt myself to make a better app than the float control made by surfdado🥹 but yes we have plan for our own app

How would you compare your bumpers to The Float Life's BANG bumpers? will they last as long, material differences, etc.?

We swapped from hdpe to abs+pc+GF20, our bumper and bang bumper are both very good, at least we don't intentionly steal thickness on the part where it hits ground like the gT bumpers. They did it intentionly so you buy more plastic parts

Don't stress yourself too hard about cosmetics, most people prefer quality over appearance. Those small blemishes on the battery box wouldn't bother me. One thing that slightly bothers me though is your motor plug. It would make me a little more comfortable to see something with an actual seal like a weather pack plug. But I didn't physically see and feel your plug so I shouldn't say too much.

after doing plastic myself and discover the kinds of defects, I suddenly lose hope in porsche VW and Lexus, now every time I see plastic, I can see some defects on them😅

@@floatwheel after working with 3d printing it has also given me more perspective on plastic materials. The amount of crap plastics out there is mind boggling.
