Kerosene. If you put a drop of kerosene on the puncture the kerosene will draw out the venom and greatly reduce, if not stop entirely, the effects of the venom. You don't need a lot, just a drop. You don't have to pour it on just get a eyedropper and container and keep it at the boat or wherever you prepare the fish so it's ready to use. Good luck.

I love Rob and his family! Been following him for years. DeerMom also provides wholesome entertainment. I love you and the crew, too. But, I rarely get to share your videos because of the language and frequent dirty innuendos. My friends wouldn't appreciate that part. Nonetheless, this was a great collab. Really enjoyed the dry age experiment with the lion fish. Just wish Rob would have gotten to try it. Maybe next time.

When stung by a lionfish, submerse the stung part in as water that is a hot as you can stand as soon as possible. The venom migrates to heat so it is trying to go deeper into you. By using the hot water, you will be drawing the venom back out through the injection puncture and prevent your open would to seal and trap in the venom. Trust me on this, I am a professional curator of fish of 35 years and have been stung by numerous venomous aquatic specimens of all types. The hot water works for nearly everything venomous and aquatic except for sea snakes, octopuses, cuttlefish, and squid.
