Kerosene. If you put a drop of kerosene on the puncture the kerosene will draw out the venom and greatly reduce, if not stop entirely, the effects of the venom. You don't need a lot, just a drop. You don't have to pour it on just get a eyedropper and container and keep it at the boat or wherever you prepare the fish so it's ready to use. Good luck.
@salinator59664 ай бұрын
When stung by a lionfish, submerse the stung part in as water that is a hot as you can stand as soon as possible. The venom migrates to heat so it is trying to go deeper into you. By using the hot water, you will be drawing the venom back out through the injection puncture and prevent your open would to seal and trap in the venom. Trust me on this, I am a professional curator of fish of 35 years and have been stung by numerous venomous aquatic specimens of all types. The hot water works for nearly everything venomous and aquatic except for sea snakes, octopuses, cuttlefish, and squid.

If anyone would like a scientific view there's a reason we store things at cool temps, that's because proteins and other things break down at higher temps, hot water may not immediately feel good and sure your body will naturally break down the venom but if I was feeling that kinda pain I would rather take the hot water shortcut
