Yes! When I was 10 a Muslim foreign exchange student lived with us. He was so sweet! The sad thing was, he fell in love with America and had dreams of becoming a commercial pilot. That didn't happen. :( But he did get a good job and moved his whole family here with him.

Backpack 🎒 🤣 been there. 2006, in Toronto Canada, driving on Keele street towards finch from the 401 on the bus right after work (Dominions grocery store) in a clip on tie and a backpack. Get a call from mum (mums Iranian) and start speaking to her in Farsi. She makes me promise her something so I say “Ahhhh, valla ...” the bus screeches to a stop and the driver yells at me get of the fucking bus now! I look around and see a bus full of scared black people all huddled to the back. Was too funny 😂 I’m in the poorest/dangerous neighborhood in Canada and they scared of me! Lol! But honestly at the time it sucked having to wait for the next bus in the freezing cold.
