Timothy Boese Completely different business back then though. There was no “brand division” where each brand had its own champs, nor were there as many ridiculous title changes. Titles mean less and less as the years go by in WWE since it’s been devalued so much over the years.
@sassytroy8282

WWE now sucks and the title means nothing...their secondary title looks like a giant candy stick...when they hand the title to jobbers and wonder why they can't draw it's because they have lost it all....oh and don't get me wrong Jinder could of been a good champion if he was properly booked right, but he wasn't.

@@cryptozoomauler5505 yeah man. I don't mean to sound pretentious but an athlete like Curt Hennig actually made wrestling moves look artistically.. well.. beautiful. Just like a pernel whitaker made boxing moves look SO smooth. It really is something seeing TOP TOP guys in there field at their peak doing these feats that may look fairly simple to do, when bloody hell no.. no they're not. I didn't know he did that move on the Big show?? Wow.. Also Curt brain wise, when it came to the mentality side of wrestling, was in the top leagues of jake the snake, Rick rude and pat Patterson. No wasted movement. Taking your time and making everything have a purpose. The total opposite of the cluster F**K that was WCW..

Ryan G When I was a kid, my friends and I started a wrestling club, and it was only the 4 of us. I chose the figure 4, but before slapping it on, I’d say, “Now you’re gonna see...a figure 4!”

Ryan G When Shawn Michaels first turned on Marty, he used to do this belly to back suplex that he used as his finisher. It was a normal, everyday move, but he made it look cool. I first used that as my move, but stopped doing it because my friends knee went too far and hit himself in the mouth. But again, the move was pretty cool. I called it “the move!”.

I've known Cuban assassin and wrestled with him for years. He's told the story but it always hits him hard. I didn't start wrestling until 3 years after Curt died. the crazy part is I didn't even start watching wrestling until two months after he was gone from WWE. I started watching wrestling at around fourteen to fifteen years old and by 18 I was training to wrestle. Curt was one of the people that I would watch to learn from. My mentors we're huge fans wrestling from the 1980s and they introduced me to so many people like mr. Perfect and Arn and Tully. Such a sad story. Drugs are prevalent in wrestling. I still hang out with a lot of guys that do them. if you're never around it it seems like something that's so crazy. But I have a career now in the medical industry and you would be surprised at how many doctors and police officers and firefighters and normal everyday people do stuff like cocaine. I really wish I could have met him. The amount of knowledge in that man for the business would have been something to just soak in

ExtraSpecialMango, back then either Warrior, Hogan or Savage had the world title in the WWF. That was Vince’s thinking 🤔.

I have heard several former wrestlers who have had a history of addiction to pain pills say that Curt Hennig introduced them to the drugs. Seems like he had an influence in the locker room.

I do not. Just interviews of some guys from that era. Everyone that I have heard interviewed who knew him, seemed to have loved the guy. We all make our own choices.

In my top 3 all time wrestlers: Curt Hennig should've been a WWF championship. He could've had a run I thought if not for Hogan's vice grip on the WWF title and the WM lottery (4 out of the first 5 were Hogan headliners!)

I don't think AWA gave up on Scott Hall. If I'm not mistaken, he didn't want to be world champ for a sinking ship, so he stepped away. Gagne wanted to put the belt on him.
