If I didn't try to do something in blender I wouldn't believe how difficult it is. You are doing your models with grace like it's not a big deal, I am just amazed. Keep it up and do not give up fam.

Hi, great video! One question, are these game ready assets? I've always wanted to try something like this but I don't know how to reduce the poly count. Any tips on this?
@rosman3d19 күн бұрын
Hi, yeah absolutely they are game ready - by techniques used in this video you can create even mobile game assets or AAA. Hm from tips its always depends of your needs and type of game for which hat assets will be. In that video i didnt do retopologise because my low poly model was more then enough for baking, but if you want to check how to retopology check out my Stylized Golem video. There i reduced his sculpted head high poly by retopology it to low poly. Also for sure the biggest tip would be just practice and creating. Create some low poly assets just for practicing keeping your model light. But to be honest right now engines and people hardwares are more advanced so if your model needs more poly thats totally fine! Dont be worry to use bigger polycount if your model could look better. :) Good luck!

Really nice work, would you mind sharing your brushes?
@rosman3d Жыл бұрын
Hi, in description i mentioned brush pack which i used there - Sculpt brushes pack by ZenShaders. Its paid pack so you need to purchase it by yourself. But from free brushes i can recommend "orb brushes for blender" its basically everything what you need for stylized art. :) good luck!

How did you make a low poly version for substance painter? Baked the normals or used decimate modifier? I'm kinda confused about the process tbh.
@rosman3d6 ай бұрын
Hi, as my low poly version i used the base for sculpting. So basicaly 00:00-03:11 was my low poly modeling process.

@@famisreiter4141 pack from ZenShaders you need to buy (its really worth of money). But from free options i recommend stylized brushes by Orb. That's main set for stylized sculpts :)

I assume exploding the mesh and deleting half of certain objects helps to get a perfect bake in substance painter? Where did you get all those detailed brushes for sculpting? Awesome work! Thanks for sharing.
@rosman3d2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment 😊. Hmm it's not about bake, delering half of obiects mesh is pure from game optimization side - UV map space saver. If model doesn't need to be unique from both sides you can mirror half which will consume less UV map space. So for regular models is fine to keep all faces but for games its better to reduce poly count. And about those stylized brushes, you can find them on artstation by ZenShaders. Type: megapack stylized brushes blender. Good luck 😊!

Did you make all of the brushes you used to attach those bolts and whatnot or was that an add on ?

Hi! Great job! Sorry to bother you, just I don't understand why u deleted the faces of the bottom side of the table while u were doing the low poly but then sculpted them in the HP
@rosman3d2 жыл бұрын
Hi! I deleted bottom faces from my lowpoly just to save UV space (bottom faces of tables are not too visible for players so they can be just a copies of tops). Hmm Im pretty that sure i didnt sculpted bottoms, they were there just because you cant remesh with "open" obiects (you need to fill all gaps before remesh). So yeah they were there but i didnt use brushes on them (except edges) - but on the edges I brushed all over so those faces after bake fit well.
