I decided to watch it in the middle of the episode when emilia mentions her past. So before she began to explain I went to go watch it and man it was amazing. But damn the feels in that movie were something else. Then I went right back to finish the episode almost immediately. Which was a mistake. those feelings and emotions from the movie were still fresh in my mind and literally like 5 mins in puck does exactly what he promised not to do and wow it broke me almost as much as emilia man.

Like two days after the release date was announced I found out about it but sadly it aired at like midnight for me and that was without the subtitles, but at least first thing in the morning I got to immediately watching it >:) and I kept blasting the opening song while counting down the days to the release, but the episode didn’t have the opening song or visuals, which I’m hella hyped about for *hopefully* next episode. Was kinda confused when Memento was playing at the end, when it should be ‘Reason to Believe’ but whatever :)

you know . i don't think chibi touched on this but, like how chibi was saying. How subaru threw dirt at otto. but you can also show Otto is no different from subaru . They are both weak and got no powers. But otto shows strength and doesn't use cheap tricks against subaru. It show subaru that even weak person like otto has strength and courage, subaru can have also if he tried. Also , otto doesn't have re death and he isn't afraid to put his life on the line for subaru. Otto is like the person subaru can look up to in his time of need.

The 2nd half of this Arc returning has caught me off-guard, but this was a great episode. Otto is easily the MVP here, from physically besting to chastising Subaru for his behavior and the scene between him and Garfiel. The second I saw Subaru chuck dirt at Otto, I immediately remembered the call-back with Subaru throwing sand at Julius and casting his Shamac spell in a desperate effort to blindside him (of course, this doesn't give him an advantage at all). Subaru must've forgot his hand to hand combat or better yet his kicks. We got a glimpse of Emilia's past and a mysterious woman comforting her (I know the character, but won't spoil it for the anime-only fans) and Puck gets a short yet meaningful scene. Nice jacket Chibi, I see that you're starting to become one with the series lol.
