Jakob and the OGs have become more uniformed and badass in like... what? 2 months? Like holy shit, every time I see a new recording they get more in sync and more perfect. Let's be clear people, he didnt HAVE to do this, he did it because he felt it was right... and as fans we should be stoked. They are awesome and Jakob is absolutely KILLER! He kills it on his own, go look up acoustic sets from his Jakobs Castle songs... its amazing. Sublime is back to what it was about in the beginning, live and FUN concerts. Not copying studio songs, not meeting some standard... Look at Brads live shit if you think he gave a fuck about matching "studio sound". Jakob is amazing and I can't wait to see the future of sublime w him.

If he's gonna fill Daddy's shoes, he needs to do the leads and everything. Sublime was always a 3 piece not 4 piece band.

You’ve gotta be joking or just know nothing about sublime Brad doesn’t even play the solos on a good amount of the recording ur probably jamming out like what I got and a lot of other songs it’s Miguel because Brad was good but don’t give him too much credit he was a little above Kurt cobain if that plus Brad sometimes wouldn’t even play the solos or even sing the lyrics or melody of song he wrote like on the albums Jake is still getting his feet wet give him some time
@tphvac872 ай бұрын
He sounds like Brad but doesn’t have the skills on guitar to play this solo 🤔
@mattpeterson95632 ай бұрын
Right. It’s like Sublime karaoke. Jacob has been playing for a while so he should be able to put down that basic solo.
@VinnyMacias-vu4sh19 күн бұрын
He just learned most of these sublime songs this year chill out plus maybe u don’t know this but it’s hard to play a solo for your dads legendary band just like him while people are looking over your shoulder looking at you to follow him so just give Jake a minute it takes most musician a good two years to find their place in a band
