I noticed Brad's "Huh?" moment when he heard the lines "Hard work good, and hard work fine, but first take care of head." If you put those lines in the way that Jamaicans are known for their speech, then you get the message of, "Working hard is well and good, but your mental well being should come first."
@MikeB128003 жыл бұрын
This is a cover. Original song was written and performed by the Toyes. Love Sublime versions of covers though. 5446 Whats my Number cover is so good!! Theres also an Eazy E sample . Brad was a big hip hop fan and used a lot of samples in his songs.

In this episode of Brad & Lex, Smoke if you got em! The Cali based psyche rock punk reggae hip hop band is is here to hotbox the spot with mellow music, story telling and WEED...Yeah!! Lex catches a contact elevation and proceeds to pass us her "pot bop" with random air guitar moments as Brad reflects on his days of partaking in the puff puff while submitting a clean and reefer less "side to side sway".

Lol, that's my friend. We grew up together in Long Beach. We were roommates at the time and after Sublime played at a friend's birthday party, he told them that he plays the trumpet. So he went over to their studio to mess around with them. He came back and said they recorded him taking bong rips and also got to play on Date Rape. He told them all he wanted was his name in the credits. He was credited trumpet and bong rips. Miguel(producer) came by our house and dropped off like 20 copies of 40oz to Freedom after they cut it. I still have a copy from him. He also played Cisco Kid on Robin the hood.
