Great to hear it's going well! It's so nice to not have to worry about withdrawals all the time fr. Also, when I was on Methadone..I would always sweat out of the shower too and whenever I was not in full blast air conditioner(in South Florida) I would sweat like a 🐖..do they actually sweat? Lol) It's so nice to end that sweaty nightmare now I'm off of it! 😂

I can so relate to the sweating.. I need the AC on when it’s 20 degrees outside, no joke. I know it’s cuz of the subs. Glad you are finally free of that!

Methadone makes you sweat crazy. My face used to pour sweat in the heat, but since I came off it, it never happens.

I’m on suboxone. Prescribed 12 mg a day been only taking 8 thinking about sublocade shot to get off when I’m ready. I too am terrified of using. Sending you love and prayers!

I was on a 12mg strip once a day before the shot. I felt fine after the transition, one strips one day, the next the shot and felt no difference

@@Dopiates_Wow! That’s impressive! If sublocade had been available, I wouldn’t have jumped off Subutex at 24. Which was an interesting idea but I haven’t touched it since. It took me a year or two to get straightened out.

Cut those strips in 1/2. !! They're Waaaay (IMO) Over prescribed I started getting 8mgs from friends. 1 who got 60 a month and did 2 a day. For economic reasons... I cut my 8's in half. Quickly realized..." Wow...these last a LONG time..and cut them in half.(4 mg) then in 1/2 again. Got to where I could slice off tiny slivers...1 mg maybe. And they still worked!!! Suffered a little.... but would tell myself..."You F ed up ...gotta pay some kind of price" So ...cut down the strips

I wish I never started methadone...been on it for like 8 years and I have gone down a few times on my dose but my cravings increase everytime I reduce the dose. It's a slow process but I'd love to get off it.

I know exactly how you feel. I never gone the methadone route, always subs. Take your time getting off it man it’s always better then the alternative

You ever think vaping might be worse than cigs? As far as the lungs anyway. I never fucked with vaping but the coughs people get are nasty

I got a question. I'm hooked on Morphine 150mg a day orally. Would you recommend I take subs or just go Kratom and and ween down?

I would say subs. I never tried kratom, I always went the Suboxone route. Subs are definitely great and give you your life back. Just very hard to get off.

@Dopiates_ ya I just don't want to trade one opiate for another. I know the half life and misery of quitting is way worse from subs then if I just toughed it out. Kratom works great it'll take away like 80% of withdrawal symptoms but it sucks for night time as I find it only lasts about 5 hours. But in the day it works pretty good. Only real way out is gonna be a struggle I'm just glad I'm not hooked on "High doses"
