Actually Substance masters Vol1 video has some jumps at some points. It's not continuous. And that's very bad especially in such kind of videos. But anyway i can only thank you for providing such material.

I have one silly question. How the heck did you learn all of that? Your work is awesome. I spend in a designer like 50 hours now and I only can make simple gravel texture. Do you have any secret potion of wisdom in your pocket if yes I'm ordering like 20 boxes of that.

I am personally following these tutorials, the guy making them is really good at walking you through the process and they range from beginner to advanced so you can pick anything you feel like - kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6OVnXyEjq5mlac

This material is quite complex, but since you have the full and commented material file as well as the recording of the creation process you should be able to follow it even if you are quite new to the software, might be better to start with the less complex one's first though.

I simply can't understand this program I'm getting crazy like you create a texture on substance design how does it become procedural in a program like unreal engine all tutorials are only showing how they made the texture but no one even bothered to show the full thing from substance to programs, Im so frustrated that on the whole internet not even one person thought of "mhhhh let's make a texture and use it on actual environment instead of the boring fucking circle or globe whatever the fuck is that round thing"
@monsterneed6175 жыл бұрын
shit. need faster x100 and video have time 1 minutes
@yesaididit3295 жыл бұрын
Beautiful, however I would have been more impressed if you had demonstrated this material in a game engine or something. From what I see, it absolutely useless. All this hyper-displacement should be now converted to real geometry, adjusted, retotopolgied and unwrapped in a normal 3d software which is like double more work.
@JROTools5 жыл бұрын
This is more about learning, that is why it goes to the extreme a bit, also there is a lot that can be done faster with traditional 3D workflows but not that can be easily editable or customizable, usually the designer workflow isn't good for texturing one specific thing it's good for creating textures/materials that you want to customize and use in a lot of places with variations.
@JROTools5 жыл бұрын
Also all materials have normals, so if you want to bring it into a game engine you can just skip the displacement, no need to do anything fancy, you can even use displacement/height in game engines, usually for more organic stuff though.
