Back in 2006 when I was a young guy, I worked at a petrol station. Right next door to me was a Subway and this "pretty girl" worked there. Almost every shift I worked, she would walk in during her break to buy something. We would always have a short chat about life and then she'd leave. She had a smile and a personality that would just brighten my afternoon. I developed a crush on her and I don't know why, but this song made think about her a lot back then. Over a period of a few months I tried to muster up the courage to tell her that I liked her but I couldn't. In June of 2006, I knew I was moving away for a few months and had to quit that job. Before I left, she walked in one evening to say hello and I gave her a CD. I put this song on it. I quit shortly after and never saw her again. Melissa if you ever read this, I hope that life has treated you well the past 16 years and that you have found happiness in this crazy world. Thank you for all those times you came in to brighten my afternoon.

ugh saaaame. Once I saw Van wilder I was officially in love with this band. It got me thru my 1st 3 months of college, my medical leave wen i basically dropped out of college in nov 2002 then came home and constantly smoked weed with my other friends who were either still in their senior yr or doin community college at the county community which our entire highschool called 13th grade cuz so many people from our school ended up going there at some point. altho many from our school went ivy league...I had my heart SET on Princeton cuz I actually hung out there all the time and knew the campus and town since I was like 12 & I couldve made it in if I hadnt gotten severe depression when I was 14 (and continuing crippling anxiety id always had, that partially fueled my good grades since id get bad anxiety if my teachers and parents were dissapointed or angry with me). I. had undiagnosed adhd but I was still on track till I got medicated & my depression and anxiety were gone but my personality resembled that of a sleepy stoner. by senior yr i had multiple C and D grades but being as I still had a high iq, managed to do very well on my SATs...not that it was enough 2 negate my falling gpa by then. Went from a 4.0 to a 3.0. Thanks zoloft! Thanks hidden ADD! or who knows, many side effects from antidepressants are the same as symptoms of ADD so i never knew if i actually had it or if it was just side effects from my other meds. whats a girl 2 do!?

I think there are a good amount of songs from 10 yrs ago up to today that can do that 4 young girls. But i aint a young girl no mo' so i dunno lol. I came here cuz i turn 40 in a cpl months and this whole album makes me remember the good times senior yr of highschool up to like 5 yrs after when my frind and i were still listening to this and obsessed with van wilder. I leant out that dvd TWICE and didnt get it back! I had to purchase it 3 separate times! lol stupid cds would never last long. Once in the car my friend simply touched my jay and silent bob strike back dvd and it shattered in her hand! it was so strange we both just started cracking up. man, and 2002-2003 was when napster and lime wire were around so Id download like thousands of songs for free and make all these mix cds with them. theyre all broken now and i somehow dont have any of the songs anymore either. i lost thousands of songs when my 1st computer full of songs just crapped out and died, taking all my data with it. so sad. 4get wat happened to the next 1. maybe i deleted them just as i was building my library back up cuz they made it illegal then started throwing people in JAIL 4 downloading songs to make an example of them. weird times....weird times. not as weird as now tho. now times wins. shirtless putin on a horse, donald trump saying hed date his daughter and being the president.....who knew it would ever be this effin weird...
