Күн бұрын

My name is Marcel Elfers, Master Profiler through written communication. The JonBenét case has never left us because the intruder theory defies all logic. In a series of youtube presentations, I will explain who wrote the ransom note, why the note was written, and show S.B.T.C [no period] is the natural conclusion of the message in the ransom note.
(p.s. a slide error slipped in. Please note JonBenet was born August 6th, 1990)

With regards to your analysis of the 911 call....the very first line says inaudible police. What she actually said, quite clearly actually was, "hello, we need an.......police". To me it was quite evident she was about to slip up and say an ambulance but she caught herself and changed it to police. She already knew her daughter was dead and in the basement and she had the Freudian almost slip if you will......we need an ambulance.

I just watched a special series literally last night on Hulu with new evidence from the lead investigator’s family who was the main investigator brought in to help the whole investigation...one of the main things that sticks out to me in the whole case was that if it was an intruder, how were the cobwebs in the window not bothered with the intruder that came in..they were completely intact in the police photo....I remember when this happened and I never will forget it...The parents were way too cold and too calm about their daughter being dead...Also the female cop that was at the house the moment John found his daughter in the basement says that she’ll never forget the code feeling she had when she looked into John’s face the moment he found his daughter!!! They DID IT!!! There’s no doubt in my mind that the family did it!! And who in their right mind would write a three page ransom note to a family that’s absurd!!

@@thankfulblessed3774 Good points! I think it's more likely than not that the ransom note was authored by Patsy. And, the four handwriting experts that initially worked the case also agreed that it was likely written by Patsy. However, I believe it was ruled "inconclusive," for political reasons. For the police to acknowledge that Patsy wrote the note, they would've had to bring charges against her. And, for whatever reason, they didn't want to do so. I agree. What a sadly screwed up case. Poor baby. On a more superficial note 🤷‍♀️. I never liked that her mom enabled her to enter Beauty Pageants and to wear such sexy and/or suggestive mini outfits?!?! Let children be little or be their age, at every age. Makeup, big hair, glittery halter tops at 6 Yrs young?!?! Maybe a jealous mother of another little girl? Whoever did what he/she did was twisted because it’s one thing to deliver a ransom note knowing very well that this child is long dead AND why brutalize her sexually with a broken wooden stick (was it?). There is no mention of sperm as DNA so no penetration- I always found that very odd... only someone without a penis would use an object to rape or sexually brutalize right? So... That’s why in MY opinion for quite some time I thought that even at 9, it could’ve been Burke, maybe jealous of her “pageantry fame”? But due to his age, ill prepared to have sex with his little sister AND, at 9, he wouldn’t have possessed such advanced vocabulary to write such a long letter and he would’ve been extremely nervous unless he was or is apathetic... but this was too maturely calculated. Whoever did this only had 12 hours or less and had to have been on the premise... what a huge mystery. There seems to be so many possibilities!!! I only hope that this case is solved one day especially while her father is still alive. 😕🤷‍♀️

As a mom I know if I were calling 911 for help with my child missing, I would say the most alarming aspect first: "My daughter has been kidnapped, they left a ransom note." I would naturally want to convey the urgency of immediate action: a child has been taken. Also, I wouldn't call the local police, I'd go directly to the FBI; kidnapping is what they do. They would advise us what to say or not say publicly, would put a trace on our phone, surveil our property, may already know what the acronym is, and would have immediate access to forensics labs and relevant data bases. Discretion would be important, who would invite some local cop with an associate's degree in to tromp all over the crime scene and probably blab about stuff the kidnappers want to know? Unless of course, you're hoping that's exactly what would happen.. That the local cops would let you wander around the house, MOVE THE BODY, allow Ramsey TO LEAVE THE HOUSE, etc. Nope, none of this makes sense, which is why virtually no one buys the Ramsey's story.

Why would it be bad that the cops had an associate degree? I agree the entire scene was a set up and forensically ruined from the first second someone unauthorized stepped foot in that house. What confusees me is why would one of the parents just up and sexually molest their child, then give her a head injury that could have caused her death, then strangle her as well? I think the sights should be pointed at Burke. He had been very rough towards her in the past. But, if he did do it why did his parents want to cover it up so badly? Perhaps in their panic they dreaded losing both of their children because Burke would definitely be taken away and studied like a zoo animal. Perhaps he was their favourite despite all the grandeos attention Jonbent received.

If my 6y.o daughter died of a sickness, she wld be in hospital, cared for with help of doctors. But, if my daughter was murdered, strangled, sexually molested, probably tortured, while l was sleeping in the basement of our home, also jonbenet's home, l would need sedating long term. The other thing, what kind of people are they to go on TV and be interviewed, 5 days after her death, was Jonbenet buried by then? The mother and father seemed to cope with all the media and the tv questioning. They both where eagerly filmed and both able mentally be alert. I couldn't get out of bed to even comb my hair, Patsy done-up like a model, not a hair out of place, calm, collected, answered every question with authority. WHY did this ordinary family become public figures in America, they became celebrities. They made money out of their daughter. I don't know by whom Jonbenet was murdered. The strange behaviour of the mother and father, does not fill the mould of normal human beings. The other thing in one of the video, the person who carried jonbenet's lifeless body from the basement, placed her body upstairs on the floor of the lounge room, l think it was the father ?? Who on earth would put a dead child's body on the floor, wouldn't any normal person place it on the loungesuite, just the normal thing to do, because of the sorrow in your heart. This case is similar to Madeleine McCann's parents..... ended up rich and celebrities, showed no remorse for their daughters deaths. Are they human. These 2 families were backed up by people, who made sure they were paid well. Why??? Both Jonbenet and Madeleine's deaths are not resting in peace.

Sure do need a “Columbo” on this case.. are any of you old enough to remember him? A detective TV show back in the 70s or maybe 80s where a seemingly dumb, bumbling detective would be trying to figure out crimes like this one and one of his habitual things he did when he got ready to leave, he’d turn back around and say, “Oh, just one more thing...” and he always solved the crimes.. The suspects always thought he was just goofy. I can’t for the life of me remember the actor’s name and I can see his face clearly in my mind. Grrr. But seriously wish we had a Columbo on every case. Patsy came upon them and possible struck at John, hitting JB accidentally. Or, J might have done it all, not meaning to kill her, and Patsy found them. Yes, that is possible. However, interpretations are based on consistency of patterns = context. Investigations look for how things are connected. John's inital response to Patsy (after JB was dead) was likely to report the incident to police figuring that Burke's youth (accidental death) would have protected him, but Patsy didn't want to risk-it (and did everything that she could to get him to go along with "the story"). The killer is one (or a combination) of 3 people - John, Patsy, or Burke. I've always felt that Burke likely hit her with the flashlight in a brother/sister type squabble (from my understanding he had a tendency to hit her when irritated/annoyed with her). The parents actions were a diversion to protect/save Burke. The note didn't make sense b/c the initial plan backfired due to the rigor mortus.

‘I advise you to be rested’: when police arrived patsy was still in the same clothes she wore the previous night. seems like the effects of not going to sleep (and knowing she would not in fact be rested that day) influenced this bizarre addition to her delirium-and-adrenaline-induced rambling.

Its weird too because it's not like they can go back to bed and get more rest in preparation for this transaction, if a call is coming in a couple of hours.. its not like they have a week or a few days to prepare, its a stupid thing to put in a ransom note.

@Molly Mew and Burke could come out any day and say he did it and not be arrested. Only thing that would hold him back now (besides ego) would be his dad still being alive (who could still be convicted of accessory after the fact, tampering with evidence and possibly desecration of a corpse (idk about statutes of limitation on those though))

Did they check to see if the male DNA matches that of her brother, Birch? I was the recipient of severe abuse from my brother who is three years older than me. It started when I was four. I feel very lucky to be alive. My mother was called into school when my brother had written an essay titled, “how to kill your sister and get away with it.“ It’s something I don’t talk about because no one ever hears of such things being possible, I know it’s possible. Learning more about JonBenét I can’t help but wonder if she went through what I did, but worse. Even when my brother was called in, my mother covered it up. I believe Patsy and her husband covered up what their son had done.

First, I am sorry that you too are one of many that went through severe abuse by a family member. This is the bane of society. To answer your question, the DNA was from an unknown male and likely from a package handler who packaged the clothing item. Besides, touch DNA matching a family member would not be indicative of them being the perpetrator since touch DNA from a family member is to be expected within the household including her pants. Wishing you the best and believe me when I say that I, and other investigators, know what is possible. Your brother’s essay and age when it started (his age 7!) is very troublesome. How and where did he learn this was acceptable? Virtual hug for you.

Why did Patsy have to explain ‘a kidnapping’ ? It’s self explanatory, in its purist form. A child (kid) has been napped (taken) 🤷‍♀️ If you didn’t know Patsy or John before all this happened, how could you possibly say what was normal for them? Also, I’m not sure how any of us would react in the same situation. Is it possible she felt torn between reporting to police (when they had been told not to) and getting off the phone quickly to allow kidnappers to make contact, should they decide to. The first thing a 999 (emergency) operator requires is what service you require and where you live. Patsy gave her address as that’s where the police could then head and take in the info when they arrived. Years ago when I was told my Father had died, I laughed! Not because it was funny or because I didn’t love him - I was in shock. Is it possible everything that was done and the way it was done was because they were in shock? Oh and as a footnote, JB’s young life being cut short was the tragedy John refers to. 9/11 was a tragedy, many things that aren’t accidental are still tragic!

While the handwriting could not conclusively rule out Patsy on the scale it was highly unlikely. Only parts were comparable and mostly not. So it’s the modern dna test needed to really solve this case.

one. the mother had ovarian cancer. or was in remission at the time of the murder. and most likely was on pain meds. pain meds make people irrationally angry. so if she was on pain meds, jon benet wetting the bed for the umpteenth time, could have been enough to put her over the edge. two. the parents described coming home from a party. jon benet was asleep when they arrived home. meaning one of the parents would have had to carry her in. its possible that the parent dropped her on her head and knocked her unconscious. maybe they believed she was dead. panicked. and thus began staging the scene to cover up what had happened.... idk. just two theories.

What is wrong with some of these people! Take everything into account! These people, probably Patsy, accidentally killed her and tried to cover it up by claiming that it was an intruder! For one, what kidnapper is going to write a 2 1/2 page ransom note? Second, what kidnapper is going to ask for $118,000 ( John Ramsey’s bonus that year)? What kidnapper is going to ask for a ransom and kill the victim? Also, keep THIS is mind! Funny how police went through the house, on the day of the incident, but couldn’t find her! Yet, John Ramsey had no problem finding her in some obscure room, deep in the basement. Add to that, the Ramsey’s didn’t act like grieving parents who had found out that their child had been murdered. They took a good 3 months before they even gave police an interview. Plus, why were they always trying to deflect the attention AWAY from them? Use just common sense- These parents were guilty! I, personally, will never believe otherwise! Peace.
