BOUGHT OFF AMAZON FOR $299
THIS STTAND IS GREAT FOR STRAIGHT TALL TREES AND WHERE I LIVE THERES TONS OF PINE TREES JUST LIKE THAT.
THE CHAIR HAS 5 STARS ON AMAZON AND IS LOVED BY EVERYONE.
NOT JUST GREAT FOR HUNTING. CAN BE USED FOR BUG OUT GEAR ALSOIF NEEDING TO ESCAPE AND GET HIGH UP IN A TREE.
ID LOVE TO SEE A SECRET WAY TO ENTER A TREE HOUSE USING THIS CHAIR!

Hey Michael, I hope you are using the green utility strap to secure the top to the tree once you get to your hunting height(safety hazard) . You can also sit and climb, more comfortable. Good luck this season. I love my Summit Viper SD.

It's tremendously easier to climb up by sitting your butt on the front rail and then lifting the bottom platform up, then repeat. Like how u showed to climb down.

Do you put your backrest strap above or below your upper cable when you wrapped it around the tree?

Your speaking about the strap that's for holding the chair? Id put it where is best comfortable without falling because the back rest strap doesn't hold any weight It probably could be used either spot and maybe not used at all. But I will say using it is probably best for if you need to take a standing shot you can sit back down without the backrest falling and then you sit on it.

Put the seat rest bungees over the cable on either side. Pull the clips under the cables and clasp them together in the middle. No need to go around the tree, and this is how Summit shows to set it up. It's way easier too.

No harness? Really? I have two of these but usually use my Mini Viper, which I recommend for anyone not much taller than 6’ who hunts public ground. Unfortunately many of the demos are like this one, done by someone who’s never used these types of climbing stands but there are a few that show how to show how to best utilize it for mobile hunting and getting up a tree quietly and not working up a sweat. So much can be said, but for starters, it’s a stand up sit down climber, and you’ll cool down a lot faster after the walk in if you use it as such.
