Thank u....i learnt sumo deadlift exclusively from this video. Guys, once we master sumo deadlift, you will notice ur squat will go up drastically and u will be able to perform deep squat with more weight. Sumo Deadlift is an exaggeration of a squat. So, master sumo deadlift to master squats

But isn't this more of a squat when the butt is exactly parallel to the floor? Especially with a sumo deadlift the butt should be between the knees and the head, no?

I believe this is partially correct, timestamp 11:02 .. you do not need to sit that deep you do not squat dead lifts ..
