Jamal, Not only are you phenomenal lifter but you also seem like a genuinely good and positve person. I really appreciate how you seem to make videos that address a lot of debates that fans or lifters in general have. Such as how much can sumo pullers deadlift conventional, what the difference in numbers is between a deadlift bar and stiff bar sumo deadlift and so forth. Anyways if you do end up reading this comment, taking peak and all that in account how much more do you think you could pull on a deadlift bar vs. a stiff bar ??
@scottpope6210
@scottpope6210 2 жыл бұрын
Great tip of pull the bar apart. Definitely makes sense and allows you to focus on the task at hand. The mixed grip helicoptering gets worse as you become older, warming up more helps but no gaurentee

Really appreciate such videos! I have the problem that my legs, at least thats what i think the issue is, are quite weak. I (20y.o 167cm and 70kg) can DL 180kg ( sumo with pretty high hip position, and dont really feel like im pressing but rather pulling) and only squat like 125kg highbar. And i rarely get quat doms. No matter what i try my glutes and my lower back seem to be way stronger than my quads. I thought about only doing platz squatting for a few months or at least focusing on them. Do you or anyone in general have any tips? Thanks in advanced! :)
